It left nice shine but I would rather just do a regular gloss. I didn't feel really, any difference in the I felt like I still had to condition the hair after my service. Once again a regular gloss would be just as effective.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleek and shiny hair I was given a free sample of Redken Acidic Color Gloss Activated Glass Gloss Treatment in exchange for a review. I have chemically treated hair that is extra long, dry and frizzy. No natural shine for me. After washing my hair, I applied this gloss treatment (make sure you use gloves!)I rinsed after ten minutes and continued with my regular routine of combing and allowing my hair to dry naturally. For the first time in a long time, my hair was sleek. My hair is a more vibrant, shiny shade of black and I love it! For me, this lasted about three days. I repeated the treatment once more and found the same effect lasting about as long as the first time. I am a busy mom so I'm unsure how often I would actually be able to utilize this treatment outside of sampling. However, I would recommend Redken Acidic Color Gloss Activated Glass Gloss Treatment to anyone looking to add shine to their hair between visits to the salon or those looking to add to their at home haircare routine.

If I need extra time then adding it as an add on service is fun and clients like it. 4 stars just bc it does what it's supposed to but I could live without it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Never seen / used before Idk if this is a new product from Redken or what but if you are using this for home you can have a good time playing hairstylist with this! This was gifted to me complimentary by BzzAgent and this product claims to give more of a boosted shine. As a stylist I would actually use as an add on! I tried it on myself last night and I thought honestly this is just any shine solution. After towel drying hair, throw some gloves on and apply generously into your palms and by sections just rub in! I combed it through and put it in a clipped bun for 10 minutes. The scent is LOVELY like I don't think I ever smelled citrus of any sort from redken. The shine is REALLY there! My only concern is will this dry my hair out over time or more so I'd like to know more about the science behind this as far as product knowledge.

The product helped loosen my course hair and it also made detangling so much easier as well. I have very tight coils and I'm always looking for products that will help.

I would recommend this product to my clients with medium to corse hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I think it's just OK. I love a good gloss product, so I was excited to try this new one from Redken. I waited to leave my review until I could try it on a few of my guests. I was left a little underwhelmed tbh. Maybe I'm applying it wrong, but the directions on the box & bottle are very vague. Other than saying to wear gloves and leave 5-10 mins. I wish it stated an amount used for length of hair, should I use conditioner after? (I did by the way, because the hair felt dry in my opinion) Overall I didn't see a huge difference in my clients hair. I noticed more shine in my brunette clients but I achieve more shine and conditioning in less time with my current gloss product. 5-10 mins is awhile for something that doesn't have an amazing result. I probably wouldn't purchase it. And I'll stick to my current gloss product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a noticeable difference I wanted to love this product. The Redken Acidic Color Glass Gloss Treatment boasts a 76% improvement of shine in this at home glossing treatment. I can't say I really noticed any. An easy enough application of just putting it straight onto clean, towel dried hair and waiting 5-10 minutes before rinsing. Afterwards the hair felt fine, but nothing like I had expected. With an acidic pH balanced formula and apricot oil care complex this should leave the hair feeling like silk. I just didn't see those kind of results. Unfortunately for me, this isn't a product I would recommend or purchase.

It provides amazing results and leaves your hair looking healthier and enhances the overall color. It provides it with a high shine, demi permanent hair color that leaves the hair soft and smoothes down the cuticle leaving it looking better than ever before. This is super easy because it only takes 20 minutes. You could easily use it right in the shower or simply rinse in the sink. It covers any unwanted "brassiness" you might have in your hair and the best thing is that it is completely gentle and not harsh at all. I absolutely love it. I highly recommend this fabulous product!
