I like to leave mine on for the full 10 minutes for the maximum effect. I have previously used a redken gloss treatment mixed with processing solution or shades eq clear + processing solution but I LOVE that there is no mixing with this.

I absolutely loved how this gloss paired with Redken Shade EQ Demi-Permanent in (4VRo -Violet Rose) brought my dull faded color back to life! I kept it on for a little more than 5 minutes given I have thick curly hair. My curls look so shiny and vibrant! In as little as 5 minutes, you get a beautifully deposited color and shine!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's fast but... This is absolutely NOT for hair that's colored with demi/semi permanent tint. I used it on myself, an my hair has four different Pulp Riot colors with a tinted blonde base. Although my color was fading, this made it fade immediately. My bad, I should've looked at the ingredients first as it has H2O2 in it. Yikes! I think using clear EQ would be a better choice. However, if you have a client with virgin or permanent hair color it might work. It's only on for 5 minutes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsure about this I used this product twice. I could definitely feel a difference in my hair immediately after using the product. I wouldn't say it was a pleasant feeling. After my hair dried I didn't notice a difference in my hair. My hair felt normal once it was dry. I didn't notice more shine or softness. I tried the product a second time to be sure and once again my hair felt strange immediately after use and then I felt no change after my hair was dry. There were no negative side effects aside from the strange texture of my hair while wet after use. I suppose in the end it acted as a conditioner substitute but was more work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from On the fence I used it on a few of my clients, I would say 1/3 clients noticed a difference. I used it on one particular client on two separate occasions two weeks apart. She comes in for a blow dry style the first time I left it on for five minutes and the results were mediocre. The next time she came in I let it set for 10 minutes and this time I noticed quite a difference not anything crazy but her hair was more controlled and it had much more shine than it normally does.

I was actually told by a Redken educator that it needed to be paired with the Acidic Color Shampoo & Conditioner which I did not have. So this may not be a complete assessment. For most of my clients their hair felt noticeably smoother but not any more shiny. On my client with vivid hair it actually pulled some of the color out. I would love to try this as a complete set. The original Acidic Bonding is my favorite hair care ever so hoping to love this line

On some people, usually people with darker and healthy hair, they're great. The rest of the population, especially blondes, they seem to do nothing. Just my opinion.
