Apply a dime-sized amount to wet hair at the scalp. Using your fingers, lather and work the shampoo down to the ends. Rinse. For extra cleansing, repeat. For best results, follow with Strength Cure Blonde Purple Conditioner and Miracle Filler Treatment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thick conditioning I received Pureology Strength Cure Blonde Purple and it smells amazing. The product is easy to dispense and the color is purple. It comes out thick and a little goes a long way. I definitely recommend this product. The way it is package is lavish and will not drip out. It still gives you a good soapy experience unlike other dull shampoos and help tone done the yellows.

I use it one to two times a week. The results are amazing! It rids my hair of any unwanted orange or yellowish tones. It makes my hair soft and manageable and eaves me with almost white hair. (Just the way I like it.) I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smells so good/Great product I think I accidentally put my shampoo review on the conditioner, but the response is basically the same. I have dark hair with highlighted/ombred vivid ends, so I'm not sure exactly how this came to be, but I did consult my hair stylist because I didn't want to try something that would ruin my vivids. These purples are very pigmented and dense, I'm sure if you left it on light hair long enough it would be very very non-brassy. The shampoo made my hair feel really good and smells amazing, it didn't weigh me down, or strip my hair (like I've heard some purple shampoos can do). The conditioner, also smells amazing (I cannot emphasize that enough), is great too. I have finicky hair, it is pretty long and curly/wavy but not coarse, so it easily is weighed down by products, even conditioners. I honestly wasn't using a conditioner regularly before this because everything I tried made my hair stringy and gross, even just putting it on the ends. This didn't do that. It made my hair feel really good. So both shampoo and conditioner is great, I have no doubt the quality of the product and being able to remove brassiness. But even if you have super dark hair and want to try this product, please do. It is still good for your hair and it does build strength. This product line is great!

It really does its job as far as taking the brassiness out of my color treated blonde hair, and doesn't over tone giving you that purple tint you might find in other toning shampoos. It also makes my hair feel so much healthier than it has in such a long time! It has such a subtle but luxurious scent that lasts even after you condition & blow dry your hair (which is so hard to find!)! This shampoo lathers really well, and doesn't feel harsh on my scalp as other toning shampoos sometimes do. My hair looks so lively & fresh every time I use it! This shampoo does not dry out your hair like other blonde toning shampoos do!

The deep purple color seems odd and first, but I'm used to it now. I wish the shampoo was a little thicker in consistency for easier application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great brass canceling shampoo This is a great shampoo to nuetralize unwanted warmth and brass. The purple pigment is strong enough to tone down yellow but not so strong that it leaves you with unwanted blue/ purple tones. I'm always a little hesistant with purple shampoos because some of my blonde pieces are very porous and end up soaking too much of that pigment up. This shampoo doesn't do that. I used if to pre-tone after some highlights but before my actual toner and it worked like a charm. I also use it every couple of shampoos to keep my blondes from becoming brassy.
