What It Does

OLAPLEX Broad Spectrum Chelating Treatment purifies hair down to the cortex to remove product buildup oil hard water minerals chlorine heavy metals pollutants medications and discoloring iron and copper deposits–all without stripping hair of its moisture and essential proteins. The powerful non-sudsing Broad Spectrum Chelating Blend with Vitamin C-rich Kakadu Plum Extract creates a clean slate to enhance the results of other chemical services that can be compromised by buildup like keratin treatments color and perms. OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology™ maintains strong hair bonds during treatment so hair looks and feels healthier after chelation.

 

The no-mix formula eliminates prep time and leftovers. No wasted time or product. Heat is optional. Adding heat will accelerate and intensify chelating effects for clients who need it.

What Else You Need to Know

• Alcohol-free

• Free of sulfates phosphates and parabens

• 1. Precleanse with No.4C Clarifying Shampoo and rinse thoroughly.

• 2. Apply to hair in sections using both palms saturating evenly. Add more as needed. Leave on for 15-30 minutes depending on hair texture and amount of buildup. Apply heat if needed to intensify effects.

• 3. Rinse thoroughly then shampoo with No.4 Bond Maintenance® Shampoo and condition with 4-IN-1 Moisture Mask.

• 4. Continue with salon services if applicable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less steps than Malibu Crystal Gel Gently removes buildup. A must for curls that have heavy cream or oil routines. Curls are definitely more bouncy, fluffy, and soft after. Helps with curl definition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! You don't need a ton of this. I assumed it was operate close to Redken's preart treatment based on the consistency...I was wrong. This is a liquid but it penetrates like a treatment and foams up like a shampoo for cleansing. Use it like a shampoo. It definitely cleans the hair great. I used it on a client with coily curls that had hard water and product buildup, and her hair was soft and squeaky clean afterwards. And it didn't tangle at all!

Put this on followed directions and I could see the stuff in my hair being removed. It was disgusting, but I knew the product was working to remove the buildup

I applied this the same as and in place of a Malibu crystal gel treatment and maybe I didn’t use it properly but the first time it made the hair feel so much worse. I’ve attempted it two more times by following the directions on the bottle and it does nothing that I can tell or feels worse so I won’t use it again. Glad it was free!

My order never arrived and when I called to fix it, they only sent half my order without notifying me of any out of stock items or issuing a back order to get me the products I ordered for a Christmas gift that were all in stock when I ordered. Very inconvenient and poor customer service on order issues.
