A hair relaxer for curly hair effective on a range of curl types, from loose waves to curls and coils, providing consistent results.

Available in two strengths, the Fine/Color-Treated formula is color safe and ideal for fragile and fine hair types, while the Normal/Medium formula is better for straightening and smoothing hair that is normal to coarse.

For Tight Curls Seeking Minimal Curl Reduction: 5-8 minutes

• Wearing protective gloves, use a tail comb or sprush to apply Butter Blend Relaxer® to the top (crown) of the back right quadrant or most resistant area. Start at the top of the quadrant and work down to bottom.
• Using ¼ to ½" sub-partings within the interior of the quadrant, apply the relaxer to the most resistant back quadrant.
• Working clockwise, complete the remaining three quadrants in the same manner.
• After completing the application, return to the back right quadrant nape area. Section the hair using ½" sub-partings and begin to gently smooth the relaxer through the hair from scalp to ends using a tail comb, sprush or gloved fingertips. Do not use excessive pressure.
• Continue this technique through the remaining three quadrants until desired results are achieved. Do not exceed recommended timing.
• When desired results are achieved, rinse hair with warm water. Keep the hair positioned as straight as possible while rinsing. Rinse thoroughly until all visible traces of the relaxer are removed. Blot hair with a towel.
CONDITION
• Apply Butter Blend® PerpHecting Cream® Normalizing Conditioner to hair and scalp.
• Distribute evenly. Cover hair with a plastic cap. Do not use heat.
• Leave in for 10 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly.
NEUTRALIZE
• Shampoo hair with Butter Blend Balance Hair Bath Neutralizing and Chelating Shampoo and rinse thoroughly with warm water. If necessary, repeat. Blot hair with a towel.
