Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good rinse So in order to effectively use this product, I had to bleach my hair. Which I've been wanting to do, so it worked out. My friend applied a hair color brands bleach to my head and we left it to develop. After the initial rinse out, we did notice some brassiness from leftover bleach (I'm a natural blonde so my pure lift is normally quite light without any orange). We used this rinse twice for good measure to make sure all the bleach was out before we toned. Once we toned the hair we didn't notice any patchiness or brassy spots, which we can thank this rinse for. You can't buy it at the normal beauty stores and it is meant for salon use only, so finding it to use it is a pain. It is a huge bottle so it will last through a lot of bleachings, but normally someone doesn't bleach their head every month or so.

This bottle is huge and the texture is thin. It is a yellowish liquid that applies to wet hair in the shower. It is lightly scented. My hair was weak and damaged from coloring my hair. When I apply my own bleach highlights I Always worry if I rinsed it out all the way before toning it! This is such a relief to use and has maximum results I never seen before. After rinsing all of the pink parts(it has to be all yellow or repeat until complete) out then it is time to apply my toner and cream developer. I am happy with the results! Hair is more even and repaired. Highly recommend trying this line of Matrix Total Results Unbreak my Blonde!

To be fair I am going more icy so I don't think I'd notice much of a difference! But the feel of this rinse was a lot thicker than any type of rinse I have used prior. In my hair it felt like a mix between a shampoo and conditioner, but got ultra foamy. I gave this a four star review just for overall rinse qualities, although sadly I can't see it in action!
