What It Is

SoColor Sync Pre-Bonded is a demi-permanent haircolor ideal for all hair types and all services. The Alkaline Toners provide seamless, blended color results with high shine and condition.

What It Does

Mixing Ratio: 1:1 SoColor Sync + 10 Volume (3%) Matrix Cream Developer

 

Application: Clean dry hair.

 

Processing Time: 20 minutes at room temperature.

 

Rinsing + Removal: Rinse thoroughly, cleanse, and condition with Matrix Color Obsessed haircare. 

 

Post Color Care: Matrix Keep Me Vivid Shampoo, Conditioner, & Lamination Spray. 

 

Overly Porous Hair: On overly porous hair, lightly mist InstaCure on the mids + ends of the hair before blending through SoColor Sync.

I would recommend this to be mixed with something to give it the tone you are looking for. I honestly wouldn't purchase this for myself. I like the redken brand a lot better for coverage toners.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 50/50 I can't decide how I feel about this toner. I applied it on damp hair as I do my other toners and found it was very hard to spread around and evenly saturate. My client is a platinum blonde so I know it wasn't a color issue. I do love the purple lavender tone it left but it did leave parts of the hair very uneven and I had to go back and apply something else as I used a full tube of this and it still wasn't enough to completely saturate. That being said it did make the hair feel better after using.

I would recommend adding an ash to this and maybe even going a level down as it doesn't seem to have a great tonnage coverage and it does pull warm like I stated above. The smell is nearly 0 which I can definitely appreciate because there are so many colour lines out there that are highly fragranted. 4 out of 5 would recommend :)

They have the best pigmentation that actually stays throughout the weeks and months following and it doesn't fade as fast as most I have tried in the past. It makes your hair so soft and nourishing.
