What It Does

• High Riser Pre-Bonded can be used on all starting levels including levels 1-4 when maximum lift is desired.

 

• When using on lighter levels (5+) it is recommend to use either 10 or 20 volume Matrix Cream Developer and to check lifting action frequently.

 

• For Balayage and/or Free Hand Techniques: Mix High Riser with 10 20 30 or 40 volume Matrix Cream Developer in a 1:1 ratio. Process for up to 50 minutes depending on desired results. Do not use heat.

 

• For Highlights in Foils: Mix High Riser with 10 20 30 or 40 volume Matrix Cream Developer in a 1:1.5 ratio. Process for up to 50 minutes depending on desired results. Do not use heat.

 

• For On-Scalp Applications: Mix High Riser with 10 20 or 30 volume Matrix Cream Developer in a 1:2 ratio. Do not use 40 Volume. Process for up to 50 minutes depending on desired results. Do not use heat. Do not cover the hair. Do not gather hair in a bun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Theres better bleach out there.. Ive never worked with a bleach with this type of consistency. Once its whisked, its literally the same texture and thickness as toothpaste. Thickness can be great for it to not run, but in turn the application process is slower because it doesn’t fully saturate the hair. I also was kind of expecting a blue/purple powder, but that was my mistake. It definitely doesn’t lift like it says. Other bleach powders used with the same developer i always use, lift much faster. I specialize in blonding, so for example, a light brown root touch up going for a base for platinum with 20 vol for 45 minutes gets it a perfect banana peel color. This product takes 2 applications, even using 30vol. developer to get a light brown root, just barely, a banana/orange color. A color already that light shouldn’t take that long with that level of developer.. It scares me the damage this could potentially cause. Its a good thing i tested this out on a mannequin before actually testing it out on a client.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing special Wasn't any more powerful than the light master prebonded. Works the same. Nothing special. It dries out fast and swells more than light master. I probably won't buy again and will stick with light masters. Only positive I noticed was there were no dark spots randomly showing up.

It seemed to lift quite fast and the hair was in great condition afterwards. I think having the bonder inside is great because it seems I always forget to add it to my bleach formulas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Matrix High Riser Matrix High Riser Is a wonder bleach lightener. Is prebonded and makes the hair feel nice and healthy after use. Definitely went from a darker color to a pale blonde in about 40 mins . The powder did make me sneeze so I recommend stiring away from body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will be switching from redken I've been using Redken flash lift for years. Recently there have been chunks in the bleach that don't break down and leave spots on the hair. I love the consistency of the Matrix High Riser it doesn't get thicker after sitting a couple minutes like Redken does and the lift is very even. Very glad I got to sample this bleach.

It worked super fast, and when I rinsed my hair I was shocked that it felt healthier than the hair that I didn't bleach. I will continue to use this when bleaching, and also recommend to others.

Great lifting power but with the bonding agent to help protect the health of the hair. Especially great for the naturally darker level clients that want to be that perfect blonde. 10/10 recommend.

I was satisfied with the results after one use of lightning but i need more time to see how i like it. The hair seemed to be in good condition after the service and was able to lift it up 6 levels or so which is nice ! So I'm excited to keep using this product

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lifts great…if you can get it to mix So I've used this on 3 different clients with the same results each time. It lifts BEAUTIFULLY, but the bonder is incredibly difficult to get mixed in well and not leave spots. I've smashed all the pieces I can find before I add my developer, I've mixed it by hand for 2 minutes (timed), and I've mixed it with a color mixer for 5 minutes (timed) and I STILL can't get rid of the binder clumps. It leaves spots in the hair and uneven results, so I wouldn't recommend it. Keep the bonder out and it would for sure be one of my go to lighteners, but for now, I'm leaving it on the shelf.

This lightener is intended for darker bases, but I find it's a pretty good all around lightener in general and the hair feels strong after as well. I only give it 4 stars because I'm not sure if I believe it will lift a full 9 levels, as I put it on a level 4 virgin hair swatch (that I took from a clients head hehe) and after a little over an hour she really only lifted to a level 8. So.. take that for what you will.

Benefits to owning this product would be a high lift bleach that doesn't leave the hair feeling damaged! I would buy this product again and recommend this bleach to my co-workers.
