What It Is

A weightless conditioning lamellar treatment that instantly detangles and adds shine to each hair strand in just 8 seconds when used as part of the High Amplify system.

What It Does

High Amplify Shine Rinse Lamellar Treatment acts like a shine booster for your hair. This cutting-edge, water-like, weightless formula, detangles and adds shine in just 8 seconds. 

• Step 1: Cleanse with High Amplify Protein Shampoo OR High Amplify Root Up Wash Super Clarifying Root Cleanser. Gently squeeze out excess water but do not towel dry.

• Step 2: Apply 1-2 tick marks of High Amplify Shine Rinse to hair in a zig-zag motion. Lather and wait 8 seconds.

• Step 3: Rinse well prior to adding High Amplify Foam Volumizer or Wonder Boost Root Lifter & Styling. 

 

PRO TIP: If additional strength or moisture is needed on porous ends, apply High Amplify Protein Conditioner to the hair and layer Shine Rinse over at the back bar for a custom treatment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Amplify Shine Rinse I like the fact that you do not need a lot of this product; for short hair you do not even need the measured amounts on the bottle. It smells great. I do notice shine in the hair afterwards, hard to tell how much body it gives, though as I am using product on the hair to style. I also like that it does not weigh fine hair down, but feels as though it has been conditioned. Good idea for folks that shy away from conditioner for that reason. I had liked the aqua gel conditioner line from Matrix that had been , I believe, discontinued so this is a good replacement. I do think it is odd that you leave this on for "8 seconds" ; not 5, not 10, but 8? That sounds like a bit of a gimmick, but it does no harm to leave it in a full 10 seconds.

This is the perfect tool for them. It adds great shine, closes down the cuticle without weighing their hair down. I love it on my 3 year old grand daughter also. It makes my hair feel silky, smooth and soft and it doesn't feel weighed down like most products that I've tried in the past. I've also been a fan of Matrix hair products for years. After using this for about a month, I honestly feel that it does do what it promises but I don't think it's better than conditioners in the same price range / higher end brands. It takes some getting used to because it's watery and you will get about 20 uses from a full sized bottle, depending on the length of your hair. My hair looks as shiny as it does when I use a serum or similar product. If you are loyal to this brand then I say try it. I like it a lot but I don't feel it stands out other than the packaging.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It gets warm The product was just o.k. It has a nice scent. Kind of like a coconut Hawaiian tropic smell. Unfortunately the scent didn't last long and wore off half way through the day. It is also very hard to use since the consistency is that of water making it very hard to work through your hair. It was a nice surprise that when it touches water it has a warming sensation. I didnt notice a big increase in shine like its supposed to do but it did leave my hair very smooth.
