It is soft and not sticky, gives great volume on the hair and a wonderful smell. I think on hair that is on the finer side it doesn’t weigh it down and gives good volume.

Upon applying the mousse wet or dry, I found my hair to look more lifted and uniform for my natural wave then without. The smell is light, yet pleasant. I would recommend this product to salon professionals and clients. My hair felt softer and not crunchy like most mousse products if you air dry the hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft, Bouncy Volume Without the Crunch I stopped using mousse because they usually leave hair stiff, sticky, or crunchy, but this one surprised me. The Matrix Food For Soft XXL Big ‘N Soft Mousse gave my hair noticeable volume while still keeping it soft and touchable. My hair felt hydrated and it defined my curls nice without weighing everything down. I also loved that it helped with frizz and gave a smooth blowout look without making my hair feel coated in product. The vanilla/amber scent is really nice and not overpowering. A little goes a long way, especially on damp hair before blow drying. If you want fuller hair with movement and softness instead of crunchy “helmet hair,” this is definitely worth trying.

The smell is very light and pleasant. It’s not your typical foam/ shaving cream texture it’s more like foam soap texture. I also used this for my daughter’s curls and it helped make them more defined. Can’t wait to try this with a blow out.

I liked the fragrance, not too strong and left the hair with shine and volume, particularly in fine hair. It worked on all of the clients I have tried it on, but my favorite seemed to be the more fine hair, just really noticed the shine and hold on those specifically. I received this product in exchange for an honest review.

I love that it has 450 heat protection bc most clients who need volume have to add so much heat to their hair to get there. I didn’t feel any sticky residue or something I HAD to round brush out and up. Felt very lightweight and smelled amazing! Love it!

I wear my hair in a mullet kind of mohawk situation and my hair is relatively straight so getting any kind of volume in it can be a little bit tricky. This mousse really did make my hair feel pretty soft and I was able to get volume up to 3 days with a little extra product help. That doesn't always happen with volumizers that I get, so I was definitely pretty impressed with this!
