Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just Okay I used this at the salon on a client that I have been doing her hair for 6 years. The lift just wasn't there for me. Her hair did feel great but 9+ levels of lift is pretty inaccurate. I will continue using my tried and true lightener.

I love the consistency when using it in foils. It spreads beautifully. I used the coordinating 20 volume developer without heat while I was doing a root touch up with foils. I processed it for 40 minutes . It had great lift. The lift was even and the resulting color was beautiful. I would definitely recommend when doing a touch up and foils together. The hair felt soft and the color was a beautiful slightly pale blonde.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mid tier. Not awesome but it does the job. I love that it’s oil based, but I still found that it was a little harsh. I know the idea is to get those 9 levels of lift but I wish it came with a 10v developer option. I still like the L’Oréal version a little better.

I used with 20 volume Matrix Blondemax 9+ developer but I do wish they would offer a 10 volume as well. I have received this item in exchange for my honest review.

It didn’t swell in foils which is a plus and it got my client to a beautiful blonde with just using 10 & 20vol. Would buy again and the packaging is super cute too!
