The first thing I noticed was the "no swelling" claim—it’s accurate. The creamy consistency stayed exactly where I placed it, which is vital for precise foil work and balayage. The lift was exceptionally clean. I was able to achieve a bright, even blonde without the warmth usually left behind by high-lift powders. Despite the speed and power of the 9+ lift, the hair felt remarkably conditioned afterward, likely thanks to the oil-powered formula in both the powder and the developer. If you’re looking for a high-speed lightener that doesn't compromise the integrity of the hair, this is a fantastic addition to the backbar.

I highlighted permanently colored level 5 hair with nice even results. The oil powered developer makes the consistency so smooth and workable. I pull my foils in sections as they finish processing and this lightener had minimal dustiness so I wasn’t worried about it getting on my client's clothes. Great for all blinding applications.

Even, fast lift in foils making my highlights faster and more efficient. I was skeptical about the product in general and then using 20 volume, I was pleasantly surprised with how blonde I got my guests in only 20 minutes processing time. I've always loved Redken Flashlight, but this will be my new go-to for massive lift and blonding.
