What It Is

A toning shampoo that gently cleanses while neutralizing unwanted, orange tones in hair. Blue shampoo is ideal for brunettes.

What Else You Need to Know

This professional formula utilizes tailored dyes to target specific hair colors: blue for light brown and brown hair. The luxurious, tinted cleansing cream transforms into an easy-to-apply dense foam. Blue shampoo is ideal for brunettes.

Distribute evenly through wet hair and massage until a lather forms. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with Vitamino Color Spectrum Conditioner or Mask (sold separately). Use once a week with the full Vitamino Color Spectrum system for best results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Brunettes Was very excited to be able to try this shampoo. Not many lines make blue toning shampoos mostly purple. I loved it on my brunettes. Their highlights pull lots of warmth. This is pretty pigmented to leave on for few minutes and see a difference. Just know your hand/nails will be stained some.

The only issue I see is it does stain your hands so you do want to wear gloves when using it. It smells absolutely amazing I do recommend using twice so you get that good lather because it is sulfate free but I am in love with the shampoo it does remove all the copper and brassiness in blonde and brunette hair I am absolutely using in my salon and would buy again

I always try products on myself before using them on clients. Product smells good and lathers well. Toned my dark hair a bit like it should.

The blue is very vibrant which can be a little intimidating but when used on brown hair that has orange or even golden tones neutralizes the hair perfectly! It is perfect to use when your highlights start to looking brassy. Has a light fresh smell and lathers a lot with a small amount of shampoo. I would definitely recommend to other professionals.

You see a difference right away, it is highly pigmented and could stain your hands if you were using it on multiple clients in a row. I have only used it on blonde but would work well on darker hair. It has enough pigment you could leave it on for 5 minutes or so and tone hair nicely. I also like the scent.

Does a good job toning slight brassiness, but would require consistent use to eliminate strong brass tones which would dry out the hair. But overall it is comparable to other available products and I was pleased with it.

Not only does the scent of the shampoo smell amazing, but it also does an amazing job in toning my hair and removing the orange hues in my dyed hair. I can tell that my hair is re-toned and lightens closer to the original color of my dyed hair. It works really well as a weekly shampoo it’s been very helpful in maintaining my colored hair. It overall keeps my hair feeling really healthy without drying out like others have. I’m a huge fan of it.

I usually use a blue conditioner for brassy highlights but this shampoo works much better. I love it and will be buying it again when I run out. Also will recommend to my clients.

Works amazing to tone down brass out of highlights but I would not recommend to use on any hair above a level 7. Will def be a staple on the back bar in the salon!

I love how it cools brunettes and also brings out the ice in my own blonde hair. I am so impressed I plan to get some to use on my salon clients!

It is very concentrated compared to other blue shampoos I have tried. It actually stained my hands a little blue. It is rich and has a nice scent. It definitely cooled off any warm tones on my clients I used it on. The hair didn't feel dry like some other brands leave using their color deposit shampoos. I would highly recommend.

This did tone down some orange tones on some clients, but on several of my clients it did nothing. It is very staining so make sure you wear gloves and watch your clients skin. It's not a complete skip, but not my first choice.
