I really really love and adore this shampoo because it glides through my damaged hair effortlessly with very little effort, like you don't have to work very hard to get it evenly distributed and it lathers up beautifully! I won't live without it! It cuts my shower time down and gets my hair super clean. It does leave my hair with a little less volume BUT wait don't write it off just yet. If you like to wash your hair everyday like I do and normally have to fight to clean it, then you will appreciate the Loreal Prolonger shampoo. It's like no other and I've tried them all. In other words the trade off is definitely there and even with this small flaw, I do still get enough volume with a good blow dry and boar bristle brush. For me it's totally worth the trade off. I really liked the Olaplex #4 too and got clean with no weight and little effort, but it smelled so bad like a perm. I just couldn't get past it and I'm not one to complain about that sort of thing, but the bad smell really lingered with every move I made and it was just too upsetting...

I've been using this a few weeks now and I have absolutely noticed a difference between the amount of hair that would break off when I'd brush my hair before I started using this system and how much hair that breaks off now. The scent is pleasant and professional, but it's a little stronger than I'd like and it's not as bright of a scent as I thought it would be.
