Before a color, balayage or lightening service:

• Spray (Mist) on dry hair, focusing on the lengths. Keep the trigger spray 8 in. away from hair.

• Short hair - 8-10 sprays.

• Long hair - 15-20 sprays.

• Let it air dry, while prepping formulas.

• Do not rinse. No added time needed.

• Follow with color, balayage or lightening service.

Apply it before you hilite and the results will be flawless. I found that time and time again this produced better results while lifting and coloring. I used it with several different product lines too, all achieving great results.would definitely buy this again!!

I have used many different brands, but this one definitely helped color and lightener process evenly. It left the hair healthy, shiny and damage free. I also tried it on someone who had build up in her hair and it removed all of it! I would buy this regularly for my salon and absolutely recommend it to anyone! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less brass for blondes I’ve used this pre treatment on a handful of clients now and it’s made a big difference in the way the color takes to their hair as well as the longevity in between color services. We’ve got hard water in our area and after using this pre treatment my clients are collming back with blonde that still looks just as good as when I did it because the brass isn’t really an issue anymore. Would be great for gray clients too!

I sprayed it on dry hair kind of had a chalky feel after it dried, so it was a little hard to comb through the hair, but then I felt after I rinsed the foils and toned my hair felt very soft and no damage

This eliminated all of that and her gloss took more evenly too. I love the bottle it’s in, it made application smooth and easy. Definitely a nice add on for better color services!

This has worked great on clients with hard water and terrible city water, this pretreatment made the hair color more shiny, vibrant, and stable. One week post color service it still looked as good as the day we did it! This will be great for all hair types especially fine hair that is more prone to damage! Everything I’ve used from metro detox line has NEVER disappointed!
