I used this product on a blonding service for new growth. I am pleased to say the blonde came out beautifully! The hair was also nice and strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for areas with hard water Thank you L’Oréal for letting me try the Metal Detox Professional Pretreatment spray in exchange for my review. I applied the spray to prepare hair before my client’s coloring service because we have older plumbing and hard water in our area. Depending on the amount of metal in hair, it can cause breakage, dull or uneven color, and less predictable results when lightning the hair. The leave-in spray quickly absorbs into the hair to neutralize and removes metal deposits. I used in conjunction with the Metal Detox Shampoo and Mask to help protect the hair against receiving new metal particles. The spray does not have a smell or heavy feeling to it. This service only took an additional 5 minutes. My client’s color took beautifully, very even and shiny.

I used on a client with sensitive scalp issues with known metals in her well water . I used it prior to coloring my clients hair . This formula neutralizes metal to protect hair . It’s a very lightweight spay that did not weigh the hair down . It looked shinier after application. The smell very much reminds me of a man’s cologne.It’s been a few weeks since used . The client reported that she had less fading and that her hair still looked very vibrant and shiny.
