1. Separate wet hair into 2 sections


2. Apply 2 to 4 pumps per section depending on length. Work the product through lengths and ends for 1 to 2 minutes until a light lather appears. Detangle.

3. Do not rinse. In a layering technique, apply Metal Detox shampoo directly over the top, then rinse and follow with the routine.

I start my chemical services with clean hair now. Specially for my blondes. You can feel a difference on the hair after the first use. The lift on the hair has been less orange since I started using this products.

It preps my hair really well and helps take the metal buildup out, so my color goes on smoother and turns out more even. My dye seems to last longer and fade less quickly too. It’s super easy to use and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy in my hair. After rinsing it out, my hair already feels softer and cleaner before I even start coloring. If you’re someone who colors often or wants more reliable, vibrant results, this pre-treatment is definitely worth trying

After wetting hair thoroughly,I used a couple of pumps of this creme on two sections of hair and combed it through with my fingers.The scent is a strong,citrus smell.Not a bad scent just a little strong.Left the creme on for a few minutes then added the shampoo.

However when I had a bleach blonde wanting to add dimension and lowlights I thought let's give it a shot. The out come of her color was beautiful. Her fill was nice and shiny.

This smells amazing, it has a perfumed smell with citrus notes that smells good for days. L’Oréal’s packaging gives luxe professional vibes. If you use the pre shampoo treatment I recommend using it in conjunction with the metal detox shampoo & mask for best results. The mask leaves my hair feeling soft, not weighed down, & detangled. This is a protective mask that helps color last longer by protecting the hair from metal particle deposits.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from recently had the opportunity to try L’Oreal's Metal Detox Pre-Treatment.  The fragrance is a little strong for me but not the worst.  It's a nice a pre-service to use to help get a more even color with lightening and/or coloring especially with blondes.  I would definitely recommend using this product especially with the full Metal Detox line.

The system left the hair feeling really soft and made it much easier to blow dry. There is a musky/citrusy scent to it that matches the rest of the line. It worked well for most hair types.

This system made my hair feel so soft, it held a better curl & I felt like it gave a little life back to my highlights! The system was easy and quick to use unlike some lines that make you keep the products in for 5-10 minutes or more!! The smell is amazing-reminds me of ck One!! I have recommended this system to all my clients with hard water issues!!! And I will be offering it as a treatment in the salon!

My hair felt noticeably smoother, and detangling was effortless — which is huge for me. It has a really clean, luxurious scent that makes the whole experience feel salon-level. It won't completely get rid of the brassy undertones but it is easier to control it. Be mindful of the scalp, if it's not rinsed out perfectly it can cause itchiness
