Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for Hard Water! Our family has pretty bad hard water at home, so I'm always looking for things to help detox our hair. I was already a fan of the Metal Detox system, so I was excited when I saw they were coming out with an oil! Both myself and my mother tried it in tandem with the rest of the Metal Detox system (minus the spray), and we both noticed that our hair felt lighter and more protected. We also both noticed that the oil worked well with our other styling products, and helped tame our curls. The only qualm I could see people having with the product is that it is a bit on the thicker side, so it can weigh down finer hair a bit. But outside of that, this is now one of my favorite oils!

I find that this would be a really good Product to send home with clients who have really bad hard water at their home and help make the stylist job easier by having the metal materials out of their Hair prior to hair services

You have to follow the instructions and warm up some of the oil in your hands before working it through your hair. I did one side first to see if I could tell the difference and it was very noticeable! It didn't weigh down my hair and my ends looked smooth and shiny.

I also started using it before blow dry service on clients who have frizzy hair or are prone to split ends and have noticed shine is restored. The oil is lightweight and does not make your hair feel like there is product in it. I also liked the light but fresh scent and noticed it did not make the hair overly greasy.

You warm it up in your hand to use it and you really don't need too much. The formula is perfection! They really went all out on this line. Bravo L'Oréal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommending to clients I have to say I love my L'HUILE ORIGINALE HAIR OIL from Kérastase but the Metal Detox Oil comes second!!! This is for my girlies who do a lot more outdoor activities or go out more because this oil protects, restores, and gives a great shine! It gets another plus for easier detangling on damp hair. I recommended it to 4 of my clients because it's festival season and they travel to hotels, Airbnb's or go camping I know their hair takes a beating from chlorine, hard water, etc. They would get their hair done before an event and come back right after needing a detox treatment and new gloss or color refresh but after using the detox oil their hair is in better shape and don't need to come back until their next scheduled appointment. As much as I love extra income and seeing my clients I'm glad this product can help manage their hair in between appointments. Luckily this is sold at salon centric so I can grab a few for my clientele :)
