I do notice when I out it on my damp hair my hair does dry a little faster than normal but this is the only thing I have noticed. Maybe it just takes more than a couple weeks to notice changes but I haven't noticed anything at all at this point. The package is pretty and I love redken products. But I can't say I would buy it again once this container is empty.

I tested the detox oil on both dry and damp hair and found that wet worked slightly better as it was able to spread evenly throughout the hair without being absorbed too quickly. The thick, silky texture of the oil feels nourishing without being greasy or weighing the hair down. And I really liked the scent, it to me had a subtle, musky citrus aroma that was very pleasant and not at all over powering. Because of its thicker consistency, a little goes a long way, and I only needed a pump or two. And with the nice bottle design I could get the perfect amount every time. Really left the hair feeling soft and silky.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE THE NO SCENT Got this product to review and I would definitely recommend. I love that is as no smell. I do not like the smell of argon or Moroccan oils. This oil is very light and dissipates into the hair leaving a nice shine without weight. I used on both damp before drying and after. Also works well on next day curls to tame fuzziness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Metal detox concentrated oil = Liquid gold I have used this in my dry/ with a lot of breakage and normally have short breakage pieces sticking out all over. (Due to medications) I put the oil on damp hair before I blow dry the picture I have attached is just after the blow dry. I then will add I little more prior to using heat to curl my hair. But as you can see I have smoother hair just after the blow dryer. The less heat I would have to use the better. Although this product is a heat protector as well. Smells so good and not too strong. Doesn't weigh the hair down or make it look greasy. Love this product and will purchase!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from UGH This stuff might be good for people with virgin hair or zero percent damage, but I used it initially on my hair (which is definitely over processed lol). After using once my hair felt brittle, was tangled and when I brushed it more than normal came out. Obvi this didn't make my hair fall out, but it dried it out so bad my hair was like a rat's nest. I wouldn't use this!

That being said, the oil is no different. It left my hair feeling silky smooth and smelling great. I was surprised by the texture because I expected the usual hair oil or serum, but this one is slightly thicker and not in a greasy way. It's definitely unusual but I'm finding myself to like it a lot. I've used it on both damp and dry hair and it works wonderfully for both. I highly recommend!

Was a bit worried when I saw that it was highly flammable though.. just kind of alarming putting that on your head. But it works good, hair feels great and soft. Definitely need heat protection and demineralization for bleached hair and hard water!

I have been putting a pump in my ends about 30 minutes prior to washing and my ends feel so soft! I also apply to damp hair after washing as well. Smooth, healthy and hydrated!
