Rated 3 out of 5 by from Detox Oil Loreal's Detox line helps to cleans hair internally from metal build up and minerals. The Detox Oil is to be used with stated Detox Shampoo & Detox Conditioner, so I couldn't get the full effects to compare the way Loreal recommends you use their products for full treatment effects. The oil wasn't greasy, little to no odor, and made no difference in texture to the hair applied on. It was used on damp towel dried hair, as recommended. Hair felt a big softer on the ends then before, but didn't have the other 2 Loreal Detox shampoo & conditioner to fully detox the hair. My review isn't bad, just neutral, due to not being able to have all the needed products to correct metal & mineral build up in hair that felt dry or brittle without chemical treatments. I recommend this be a whole system to test and review, versus only 1 product that's the 3rd step in metal detox.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeping that brass at bay! I swear this leave in is what is keeping the brass tone of my brunette hair at bay. It doesn't weigh my hair down, which is always a plus. After two uses I noticed my hair was much more manageable and the color looked richer and darker. I can only assume that it has broken down any layer of build up, leaving my hair in a beautiful, natural state.

The serum is thicker than I'm used to but once you work in your hands and apply it doesn't feel thick. It softens the hair, has a nice scent with hints of citrus. It definitely tamed my hair and gave more shine without looking greasy or oily. I even received compliments on my hair even though I styled it the same as usual. I've used many serums but this is different in how my hair looks after using it. I'd definitely recommend.

The product had a nice smell, but not a lasting smell. It is still allowed the smell of your shampoo to come through but I can't express enough the shine in my hair.

After using the concentrated oil I noticed my color wasn't fading as quickly as it normally does and my hair styled better and looked smoother! Initially I loved that I could use this product on towel-dried hair and dry hair, but for my hair type it was too heavy to use when it's dry. It just made my ends look greasy and separate.

It is a lightweight oil and it doesn't leave heaviness to the hair, but I honestly felt like it left nothing to the hair other than a pleasant scent. It's a negative for me on this one.
