He has asian hair that can be hard to keep in place for reference. The flexibility really shines — you get control, but still have movement and room to rework the look. Natural finish which I prefer for men’s products-makes the hair look just the right amount of messy. There’s barely any hold to it, but it does provide some shape to the hair. The best way to describe it is when hair is 2+ days unwashed. If hood is what you’re looking for, I wouldn’t recommend.

It has a nice hold, not stiff at all, or oily or sticky. Just a nice satin finish which gave great definition and was easy to work with. Also has a very pleasant scent, very mild. This is a great product to keep for your messy styles or ones who want to add some definition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flexible hair paste I received a free sample of L’Oreal Professionnel Flex Depolish Professional Paste in exchange for a review. While this can be used on any hair type and length, I used this paste on short hair on a man for this review. The first thing I noticed was the texture. It comes out of the squeeze bottle thick but goes on the hair quite smoothly seemingly without weighing it down. It’s flexible enough to create a matte, disheveled look with some defined strands and it’s easy to restyle if needed. At the end of the day, it does not have a hard, crunchy feel to it like many hair pastes. The smell is great, too. I would recommend Flex Depolish to those looking to add a lightweight, easy to restyle hair paste to their hair product collection.

I love using this to polish a pony tail, tame fly aways, and style short hair. It works great to give fine hair definition with a very low hold. I actually wish it had slightly more hold to it. But I love the ease of use, I love the light scent, and I love how it gives fine hair definition without weighing it down

It’s not quite a gel but not quite a paste either- it’s the absolute perfect consistency!!! You can’t beat the price point of this styling aid either. This will quickly become a staple in your styling kit. I’m sure it works wonders for women’s short/medium length haircuts but I’ve only used it on men’s cuts. They love that it’s still held in place but flexible enough to move around but keep some shape without crusting off. I know you know what I mean by there’s no “crusty-ness” when moved around after it’s set lol.
