DIActivateur 9-vol. (2.7%) Developer is formulated to be used with:

• DIA Light Demi-Permanent Haircolor on color-treated or sensitized hair.

• DIA Richesse Demi-Permanent Haircolor on natural or color treated hair.

9-vol. DIActivateur Developer pairs with DIA Light and DIA Richesse to create beautiful results for unlimited services.

What Else You Need to Know

DIA Light & DIA Richesse mix in a 1:1.5 ratio with 9-vol. (2.7%) DIActivateur Developer. DIActivateur Developer is formulated to be paired with DIA for best results.

 

DIA Light

• Use 6-vol. or 9-vol. (use 9-vol. when going darker)

 

DIA Richesse

• Use 9-vol. or 15-vol. (includes DIA Richesse Hi-Visibility)

• Mix ratio 1:1.5 (1 tube : 2.6 oz. developer)

• Apply with a bowl and brush or plastic bottle

• Development time from 2-20 minutes

You honestly need to use this developer in order to complete the color, it has to be mixed with this, to achieve the best results. Make sure when you apply this you mix it extremely well with the hair color and watch it as it processes so you achieve the exact result you wish to achieve.

Application and Mixing Mixing the color with the developer was very straightforward. The consistency turned out smooth and creamy, which made application easy and helped distribute color evenly through the hair. The formula spread well without dripping or becoming overly thick, which made the coloring process feel controlled and manageable. Color Performance Shade 8.28 created a balanced, natural looking tone with soft beige and iridescent reflection. Shade 10.12 added a brighter, cooler dimension and helped neutralize warmth effectively. When used together, both shades blended beautifully and produced a soft, multi dimensional result rather than a flat color. Tone appeared refined and polished with noticeable shine. Hair Condition and Shine One of the most impressive aspects involved the overall condition of the hair after processing. Hair felt soft, smooth, and hydrated instead of dry or brittle. Shine level increased significantly, giving hair a healthy reflective finish that looked salon quality. Developer Performance The DIActivateur Developer paired very well with the color formula. Processing remained consistent and predictable, which helped achieve even toning throughout the hair. No strong chemical smell appeared during processing, which made the experience more comfortable compared with many other color systems. Longevity Color held well for a demi permanent formula. Tone remained vibrant for several weeks with gradual fading rather than sudden dullness. Fade pattern looked natural and did not leave harsh brassiness.
