What It Is

A bi-phase oil that provides up to 100 hours of shine, hydration, and frizz control, all with a lightweight finish.

What Else You Need to Know

Must be shaken to activate the technology. This patented bi-phase formula has two phases:

1. Aqueous phase: peptides bonder + 5 amino acids for a lightweight finish.

2. Oil phase: helps to restore the lipidic barrier for shinier and smoother hair.

Shake well until blended. Apply 1-2 pumps for mid-length hair or 3 pumps for long hair in the palm of your hand. Warm up oil in hand. Spread on damp or wet hair. Can be used for dry hair application for shine and frizz control.

It works well either way, but a lot softer and smoother with the shampoo and the rest of the repair system. This oil is lightweight and smells good. Works on all hair types.

Leaves hair hydrated and frizz free for up to 4 days on most of my clients. Even after the first shampoo after treatment, clients are reporting excellent performance. Larger bottle than most other products in this category with a cleaner/lighter fragrance as well. Great product!

Easy to use, just shake and pump the amount needed (a little goes a long way). Apply to wet hair before styling to take advantage of the heat protection or apply after hair is styled for a great shiny look. I would purchase again.

But I used this oil after washing my hair and it made it feel soft and hydrated. I really like the scent of this oil. It also does not weigh the hair down nor did it make it look or feel greasy. It just added shine and made it feel soft.

This product, a little goes a long way, has made my hair look and feel so much healthier. I put this oil in damp hair then blow dry and I now no longer need put a flat iron through my and to smooth my hair because this oil does it all. Healthy shiny hair without the feel of being weighed down. 100% recommend!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not That Great I received this product in exchange for a honest review. I didn’t like the smell of this Absolut Repair Molecular Bi-Phase Oil. Also while shaking the bottle to infuse it together, I felt that each pump wasn't as consistent because it varied between being a little watery or oily for each client. I do appreciate L'Oreal products, but this one didn't transform the hair as much as I anticipated it to. I was expecting my course haired client to have a little more frizz control and instead it provided more of a detangling result. I did appreciate the shine it gave though; and I was wondering if using the whole repair system would change my desired outcome.

My only complaint is that it’s a little heavy — I found it hard to get more than a day out of a hairstyle because it left my hair oily the next day. A little definitely goes a long way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great smoothing product with a wonderful smell I received this product in exchange for a review. I followed the directions on the package. I shook the bottle to mix the product. I used one pump for thinner hair and 2 pumps for thicker hair. I gently heated the product in my hands to slightly warm it. The product does not go on the scalp, only the midshaft and ends. I then combed it to distribute it evenly. The smell is very delicate and dreamy. It is a slight vanilla smell. I've used this on fine, dry and unruly hair. I've used it on thick wavy hair. I've used it on coarse hair. I am impressed with it. It made all the hair types very shiny and smooth. It gave a "flat iron" look on the ends which is a plus. It made the hair soft and manageable. I would definitely recommend this for a smooth blow dry. It wasn't heavy in the hair. It made it look very healthy.

I use about two pumps for my medium-length hair, and it leaves my strands soft, shiny, and frizz-free—without any buildup or heaviness. My hair still has volume and bounce, which is rare for oils! It’s become a holy grail in my hair routine. The only thing I’d like to see improved is clearer packaging that mentions the heat protection, since it’s easy to miss even though it’s listed online. Otherwise, this is truly a miracle product—highly recommend!

You do have to give the bottle a quick shake before using to activate the product, but I love the glass bottle design. It’s very lightweight in your hands and feels like water. A little goes a long way! It detangled my hair instantly, leaving it super soft with lots of shine. I also love how you could market this as a service add on, since it is supposed to rebuild and repair damage up to 2 years! Great stuff!

I am so happy I got to review this product.I am someone with wavy,color treated hair and I have trouble with fly aways and sometimes frizzy hair.This wonderful elixir from Loreal is now a staple for my hair care.It only takes two pumps,I use one pump for each side of my hair with special attention to my ends and I'm good to go.
