What Else You Need to Know

The Blonde Life system builds bonds for brilliant bonds – offering lightening and brightening for those who want to be lifted to new heights without sacrificing hair’s shine or condition. With the strengthening power of Arginine and a nutrient-rich blend of exotic Tamanu and Monoi oils, Blonde Life helps banish brassiness, off-tones, fading, and the damage that blondes face every day.

OFF-SCALP: Mix to the desired consistency (1:1 or 1:2), 1 scoop of Blonde Life Lightening Powder with 1 or 2 oz of 10 Volume (3%), 20 Volume (6%), 30 Volume (9) %), or 40 Volume (12%) Joico developer of your choice.

 

ON-SCALP: Mix (1:2) 1 scoop of Blonde Life Lightening Powder with 2 oz of 10 Volume (3%) or 20 Volume (6%) Joico developer of your choice. DO NOT USE 30 Volume (9%) or 40 Volume (12%) developers for ON-SCALP mixtures.

 

TIMING: Process for up to 60 minutes (or until the desired lift is achieved) without heat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it This lightener is amazing, the consistency for foiling is perfect when you add just a touch of extra developer. No swelling and bleeding. It almost works TOO well, though. Even with 10 volume I’m pulling foils before I’ve even finished the application. If I was still double booking full time, this would irritate me. For my current purposes, it’s okay! I’d give it 5 stars, but I’ve worked with other brands that had amazing bond technology and I never saw any breakage. This doesn’t live up to that so for that reason I’m giving it 4 stars, but it’s still a great product.

Have been using it religiously for 4 years and has never let me down. I get perfect clean lift even on clients with coarse level 1 hair. Never have to use higher than 20 volume, but use 10 volume for most clients, including those clients at a natural level 2-3. Great for corrective color, as it is efficient and in my personal opinion, quite gentle, and can easily adjust the consistency depending on the situation, especially when I need more precision, without having a crazy swelling situation.

Also works great for an even bleach wash (bleach cap )! On scalp is pretty harsh for sensitive scalp people so I prefer to use in a foil . Also gets the most even lift through foil technique!
