How To

• 1. Dispense a dime-sized amount into palm

• 2. Apply to clean wet hair in sections

• 3. Flip curls upside down and scrunch in an upwards motion for maximum definition and curl clumping

• 4. Air dry or diffuse

The product also has such fun design since the luxurious cream gets pumped out like frosting. Don’t hold the nozzle too long because this is not a typical watery mousse consistency and you might take too much product. People with thin hair should avoid it or use as little as possible. I’ve tried a lot of curl creams and there is really nothing like this one’s texture and combination of ingredients. Love the name too, as that’s the year I was born.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MA0101 from Soft but Heavy: Not for My 3C Curls I have fine 3C curls, and this product just doesn’t work for me. While the texture is rich and buttery, it weighs my hair down instead of enhancing it. My curls lose their bounce and feel heavy rather than defined. I’ve experimented with it in multiple ways—using a lot, a little, and even layering it with other products—but the result is always the same: dense, floppy curls. It does leave my hair soft, but it offers no real benefit for my curl pattern.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tiff from Good, but not great for fine curly hair Good, but not great. I really wanted to love this product, but I found it to be very heavy for fine curly hair. I usually can go at least 3 days without washing my hair, this product made my hair knotty and weighed it down. I was expecting it to give it some volume and my curls definition. I did get some crunchy definition, but I prefer soft texture not crunchy curls.
