What It Is

Design Essentials® Sensitive Scalp Relaxer System is a conditioning relaxer designed to straighten the hair of clients with special scalp needs without irritation or discomfort. Ideal for hair with low to normal porosity and medium to thick or coarse textures.

What It Does

• Easy mixing and rinsing

• Straightens evenly and conditions during the chemical service

• Conditioning agents provide less irritation than sodium hydroxide relaxers

What Else You Need to Know

Relaxer Kit Contains:

8 - 5oz. tubs of sensitive scalp relaxers (25% more)

1- 20oz. liquid activator

1- measuring cup

1- applicator stick for mixing

1- instruction sheet

1. Separate the hair into four sections.

2. Apply Restore Vitamin Treatment to previously chemically treated hair, comb through for even distribution and DO NOT RINSE.

3. Apply Calm Soothing Scalp Protection to the scalp using ¼-inch sections, parting throughout the head.

4. Mix 1.33 oz. Liquid Activator (Part B) into Sensitive Scalp Relaxer (Part A) thoroughly

5. Wearing protective gloves, apply relaxer 1/8 inch from scalp, on new growth.

6. Repeat process until entire head is covered.

7. After application, begin smoothing area where first applied, working in same direction as initial application.

Aqua/Water/Eau, Petrolatum, Paraffinum Liquidum/ Mineral Oil/Huile Minérale, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-75 Lanolin, Calcium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Ceteareth-20, Polysorbate 20, Cetrimonium Chloride, Aloe Vera Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job! This Relaxer is always my go to when it's in stock doesn't dry my clients hair out and our burns their scalp. I was using Affirm for awhile but it did not do justice even while following all the directions since they changed their ingredients. Design Essentials will always be that It Girl of Relaxers.
