What It Is

Design Essentials Bamboo & Silk HCO Leave-In-Conditioner is an intercellular treatment, which acts as a conditioner and a blow-drying agent. Enriched with bamboo extract and silk protein, it quickly penetrates deep within the hair shaft to strengthen and replenish, leaving hair soft, manageable and full of body.

What It Does

• Instantly moisturizes, softens and detangles

• Restores and strengthens the hair shaft

• Provides a protective layer to prevent heat damage

What Else You Need to Know

Free from Sulfates, Mineral Oils and Alcohol

1. Shampoo and condition the hair and towel blot.

2. Spray onto wet hair.

3. Comb through (with a wide tooth comb) to the ends.

4. Proceed to styling, set or blow-dry.

I would recommend this to hair stylists as well as clients who are looking for something that conditions their hair and makes it feel more manageable!

It doesn't smell great but it doesn't linger either. Whether I let my hair air dry or blow dry I use this right after washing and it always looks so healthy. Totally recommend this

It also helps protect from heat damage. The scent is not one of my favorites, but it isn’t bad and it doesn’t last. Overall, I am happy with this product and would recommend it.

With so many leave in conditioner products on the market, it just didn’t stand out to me in feel, smell, or packaging. Replenishing hair with hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen… sounds great, but a person might not know that by reading it’s a “HCO leave in”

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for multiple hair types This product works wonderfully when hair has been washed in water that is 5.0-6.0 pH. My water is tap without a water softener .I used tap it did not work as well (our tap runs a bit above 7.0 pH). My hair is fine and straight a 1B & currently hits my shoulders. I do recommend this product. It is my first time using it and I like it better than the HCO leave-in conditioner by DE. It does work nicely, detangles my hair easily, and leaves it soft. I like the bonus heat protection in it as well. I can see this being a great product for thicker and or curly hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Silky hair!! My spray pump was damaged but after replace/fixing I was able to try this rich leave in conditioner and see how much i was missing! After shampooing my hair I spray this starting with the ends, then pat towel dry and comb. I can immediately start to iron or blow dry my hair since this also acts as a Heat Protectant!!! Hair feels shiny, silky and not weighted down, a bit sticky and stiff thru the process but the results are great. The fragrance reminds me a Glaze I used to abuse from when I was younger 4+4 so that was a nice plus. I would definitely recommend it!

Leaves my hair feeling soft. I do think there could be more in the bottle itself or maybe a bigger size but besides that I think it works great.

This really helped with the days I didn’t. My son has long curly hair and my daughter has thick thick straight hair that is always so staticky, I used this on both of them. Tamed my sons curls and really helped get rid of the static in my daughters hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty decent product I’d say I was confused on how to use it at first, but after doing some research it’s actually for heat protection while blow drying. I’ve only been using this product for 1 or 2 times for the past 2 months so I’m not sure if it can protect your hair from the heat damages in the long run. After using it and then blow dry, my hair doesn’t feel frizzy, but it feels quite stiff to be honest. Maybe it was meant for those who has a difficult time straightening their hairs. Instead of using it too much heat, a thick layer of silicone from the product can smooth out the curls and protect hair cuticles from direct heat coming from hair irons. @SalonCentric @Influenster #SCTextureTalk

One of my curly clients likes a silk press but it usually takes a lot of product to smooth out her hair. Not when I used this! It smoothed her hair beautifully and kept it hydrated. Love it!

I usually use after a Wash and it helps detangle the hair , protect with protecting each strain with protein . Thats really important to me because I want to make sure my clients hair is well protected after a blonde touchup service . Need to make sure I put back as much vitamins and proteins . I recommend trying this product out if your looking for something new .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great But Have Used Better! This Spray worked really nice. It detangles the hair really good and nourishes the hair as well. I don’t think this product can work for everyone though. With certain hair types it can weigh the hair down so be mindful of that.
