Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Buy Again I bought this to try on myself and love it!! My hair has always been dry, porous, and frizzy, with products usually only temporarily helping. I feel like this helped so much to smooth the cuticle and help me retain more moisture. My hair can air dry and feel tame enough not to straighten the waves out! I had it done about 4 weeks ago now, and still feel like it’s effective. Tip: Use the Brazilian Blowout website to take the quiz to get customized treatment process instructions. We answered questions about my hair type, and it gave us slightly different instructions than the standard application! Seemed to be the right adjustment!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fried hair I have used the OG formula for years with great luck, even on bleached hair. So I tried the free formula and my blonde pieces are so gummy, like I put a relaxer on them. I contacted salon centric for a refund and they can’t return opened product. I then contacted BB only for them to offer education and technical support. Don’t fry your hair like I did. Use the OG formaldehyde filled product for the best results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy !!!! Do not waist your money in buying this product. I used it on 3 of my clients and they all came back saying their hair feels worse than before the applying it. After application hair felt gritty not smooth or shiny. I have lost money instead of tripling it. I had to give them a free hair treatment for the inconvenience. I didn’t just was money but time and product. Now I can’t even return or get my money back. I’m so bummed i really like the original product. Since I live in California they no longer ship it or sale it in the states. Hopefully this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely worth purchasing!! But get certified Getting my hands onto the new BBFREE was a game changer! Opened the door for so many new guests into the smoothing world! I will tell you the steps are different so make sure you do your certification prior to use. Great thing is that there’s always free education for trouble troubleshooting. Definitely worth purchasing.

It did take me a couple times and training with Brazilian Blowout to perfect the treatment but now I've gotten it down and my clients love it! You definitely have to use more professional judgment like when doing color for this treatment. Each clients process might be slightly different! Love, love, love!

Would definitely recommend doing a training or a one on one before performing. It’s all new tech, with patent pending ingredients. It’s truly amazing. My clients are loving it. 10 stars all the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I can't judge this compared to the original because I never used it. But if this product is used correctly, it gives great results. It took about 3 hrs for long hair, thick hair. I am not sure why it took one stylist in the reviews 8 hours other than she was using the product incorrectly. While it does have a lot of steps, it shouldn't take you much longer than 2 to 3hrs. Take the free online training so you make sure you use this product right

Rated 1 out of 5 by from if I could give 0 stars I would Do not buy this. This new formaldehyde free formula does not release any fumes like original formula which is great but also doesn’t provide results. This service also takes 2-3 times the amount of time as the original formula making the service not worth your time to preform. After I bought my kit I read a bunch of negative reviews on this, and so I was worried about doing this for my client, but my client had requested this treatment in place of the original treatment for health reasons. I figured these reviews from fellow stylists and clients were unsuccessful in providing a favorable outcome because the stylists failed to take the time, precision and care needed for this new formula, so I gave it a chance, making sure to reread included instruction booklet at every step of the way, and taking extra time and care throughout the process, i made sure I was precise and meticulous as to not take any missteps along the way, and ensured I fallowed instructions exactly. I made sure to use the gentle formula since she has blonde highlights and I made sure to perform the max amount of required steps to yield the max amount of curl reduction as requested by client. Well the result was a ton of tedious steps and 8 hours later my client was finished. Initially I didn’t notice any issues except for the ineffective time investment for both myself and client. Then a couple weeks later I get a text from my loyal Brazilian blowout client of 5 years that she doesn’t want to do this new formula again as it didn’t provide any results that we have come to know and love from this brand. She has said that her blonde is breaking off all over(which is not something she usually experiences with the original formula) and she still has frizz and curl, and that it was ineffective for her. I reached out to the brand to see if they would offer a refund, or an exchange of a credit of some form but Brazilian blowout does not stand behind their formulations so they only offered me technical support. What a joke, don’t light your money on fire like me and take it from someone else. All my products are going in the trash as I do not wish to provide services that don’t provide any outcomes and take an entire workday to do one client. Also I do not wish to loose valuable loyal clients because a reputable company provides unreliable formulas and tells stylists that they work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible Completely fried my hair and left it so stretchy and gummy. I contacted the company and they told me I did the treatment wrong and that I needed to do it again. Well I did as they told me thinking it would fix it but it made it worse. My hair is falling out and it looks and feels worse than before I did this treatment. Please read the reviews online, I’m not the only one experiencing this. This new formulation is trash.
