Rated 5 out of 5 by from use a cap for deeper penetration This product is very customizable. Use a cap for a deeper penetration especially on African American coily hair texture. The whole 45 min then smooth like you would a relaxer at the end the rinse. I took me over 6 times to finally get right . I hated the product at 1st , now I love it. Use the laminate like you would use a leave In. You don’t need alot.

So easy because you don’t have to use a little amount and then if you used too much on the original Brazilian blowout the hair would get tacky. With this new treatment more is better. Easier to use and honestly better for the hair condition of the hair over all.

Does not take well to hair even after going over instructions with customer service regarding effectiveness. Will not use again. Unable to return without a physical receipt even though account shows when and where it was purchased. Very disappointed all around.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too much product Buyer beware - this is a TWO pack of product not ONE as the listing implies - so I opened the first kit and cannot return the second as it is considered "opened". So it is purposely overpriced to move too much product. Aside from that, I did the online training from Brazilian and got certified in the new formula. I am a regular professional with the original formula. I used on a client that is a twice a year Brazilian customer- and it was just plain awful. Service took 3 hours, too many steps (so there is no way you can book a color appointment in between), smoked up the whole room, and hair felt awful and gummy afterwards. She's a great customer, so she was very aware this was an experiment - but she would never want to do it again and neither would I.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Buy Again I bought this to try on myself and love it!! My hair has always been dry, porous, and frizzy, with products usually only temporarily helping. I feel like this helped so much to smooth the cuticle and help me retain more moisture. My hair can air dry and feel tame enough not to straighten the waves out! I had it done about 4 weeks ago now, and still feel like it’s effective. Tip: Use the Brazilian Blowout website to take the quiz to get customized treatment process instructions. We answered questions about my hair type, and it gave us slightly different instructions than the standard application! Seemed to be the right adjustment!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fried hair I have used the OG formula for years with great luck, even on bleached hair. So I tried the free formula and my blonde pieces are so gummy, like I put a relaxer on them. I contacted salon centric for a refund and they can’t return opened product. I then contacted BB only for them to offer education and technical support. Don’t fry your hair like I did. Use the OG formaldehyde filled product for the best results.
