What It Is

A gentle pre-shampoo treatment, ideal for all scalp types.

What It Does

Exfoliates and clarifies the scalp from buildup, excess oil, impurities and dead skin after one use. Hair and scalp are left feeling refreshed, hydrated reinvigorated.

What Else You Need to Know

• Sulfate Free

• Silicone Free

• Artificial colorant free

• Before shampooing, section dry hair to expose scalp.

 

• Apply nozzle directly to scalp to apply 10ml of product evenly throughout the scalp.

 

• Massage for 5 minutes and leave on for a recommended time of 15 minutes, then rinse

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well This works chemically to clear the scalp vs manually with a scrub. You need to be careful if you go in the sun after use due to ingredients. But does clear up scalp nicely. Downside is time needed for use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make sure to have this product at the salon Before shampooing section hair apply on scalp massage for 5 min this is a great technique to get blood flow to scalp and make to make sure you distribute product on scalp let it sit for 10 additional minutes I put a cap on it. Leaves scalp feeling great and controls dandruff and itchy scalp.

I felt like I either didn't have enough or It dried up fast so messaging it in was a little difficult. Overall a great product though.

It smells really good and he doesn't feel like he needs to wash his hair so often. Would definitely recommend to others who struggle with oily hair and scalp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thoroughly detoxes and clarifies scalp without over drying I have seborrheic dermatitis, medium textured, long, aging, color treated hair with a sensitive scalp. I applied the scalp concentrate as instructed before shampooing. The scent was pleasant just like all other Biolage products. After my hair shampooing and conditioning routine, I blow dried my hair and it came out so bouncy and clean. Before the scalp treatment, my scalp was itchy and kind of pink. After the scalp treatment my scalp was normal skin tone and felt great! The itchiness was gone! I have used other pre shampoo scalp treatments prior and that left my hair very tangled. The Biolage purifying scalp concentrate is gentle and leaves my hair smooth. I am going to use once a week going forward. I highly recommend for itchy scalps with buildup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean scalp here I come This purifying scalp concentrate is great to use pre-shower. I will warn that the liquid comes out quickly so do it over your sink or shower. Rub the concentrate into your scalp and allow to soak in prior to shampooing out. I noticed post use my scalp no longer showed product residue. Will be using this monthly.

I will definitely continue to use as I've seen an improvement in the short time I've been using.
