What It Is

A gentle clarifying shampoo that removes residue, buildup and excess oil & sebum.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for curls I bought this and I used it once or twice a month, and it made my scalp very flakey afterwards, I would not buy this ever again. I don't ever have a flaky scalp, even with other clarifying shampoos that I used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deep Cleans the hair Biolage Scalp Sync Clarifying Shampoo cleans the scalp and leaves the hair squeaky clean and shiny. I like the thick consistency of the shampoo and how well it sudds to get that good scrub of the scalped. It has a very fresh pleasant scent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great lather, really clean-feeling shampoo I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest review. I am not quite sure how I feel about this line. The pros are a nice smell, great lather, really clean-feeling scalp and hair afterwards. The cons are that my scalp feels almost stripped as my hair starts to air dry. 15-20 minutes out of the shower and my scalp feels slightly tight, dry and itchy. I think this will be more of an every now and then product when I need to clarify my hair. I do get flakey scalp and while I feel like this was nice for that, I'm experiencing a worse before better situation. I actually feel more flakey than usual. The flakes are larger and dryer if that makes sense, so maybe my scalp is being exfoliated and it will get better the more I use the products.

I have very fine hair and use a Lot of dry shampoo so my scalp gets itchy and it is hard to find something that I can put on my hair that doesn't weigh it down. I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So refreshing! So the overall line is really nice. I have an oily and sensitive scalp. My hair feels lighter and less oily after just a couple washes. I tried it because I've used Biolage before and know it would be less likely to irritate my scalp. It helped with both my issues. Within a few washes my scalp was less oily and it didn't bother my sensitivities. It's difficult to find a product that will do both. I would consider buying this product and would recommend it to offers with similar hair/scalp combinations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Must try! I have a very sensitive and oil scalp and am prone to psoriasis as well so I wanted to try something new. I got this entire line and was not mad about it. This gives your scalp a tingly fresh feeling and after using it multiple times it soothes my psoriasis! My only complaint is Matrix products are a little heavy so this definitely weighed my hair down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's good a shampo just not super clarifying. I feel like a shampoo in a scalp system that is supposed to be clarifying should feel like it clarifies the scalp more. Don't get me wrong this shampoo smells amazing, it has the traditional biolage fragrance but when I think clarifying I like the feeling of clarifying on my scalp like minty, lavender etc. this shampoo lathered well and would be good for someone who wants a simple shampoo.
