Scalp Sync Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is a specialized shampoo infused and micro-dosed with zinc pyrithione to help eliminate dandruff symptoms, including itching, irritation, redness, scaling, and flaking. Overall, I have tried, at least it seems like, I have always used an "overall" Scalp shampoo and conditioner. I've really not ever really found something that felt satisfying. They have all always felt like it has something missing that I wasn't getting! This 4 step Biolage Scalp line has been totally different than all the others. The first time using these. I immediately felt like finally! My scalp is clean! Dandruff? Or oily scalp? Basically ANY reason! This will be my go to EVERYTIME!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This shampoo is a staple in my routine I have seborrheic dermatitis, medium textured, long, aging, color treated hair with a sensitive scalp. The Biolage Scalp Sync Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is a holy grail product I have used for years. Before discovering this shampoo, I used the products that have salicylic acid and tar. However, those ingredients make my scalp itch more (salicylic acid) and the tar over dries my hair and makes it tangled. Zinc Pyrithione is very effective in flake removal and for extreme itching. The Biolage Scalp Sync Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is calming yet cleanses effectively, without irritation and over drying like other anti-dandruff shampoos. My hair mids and ends are still soft and not stripped. The smell is nice just like all other Biolage products. After shampooing and conditioning with the Biolage Scalp Sync Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Biolage Scalp Sync Universal Conditioner, I blow dried my hair using the Biolage Hydra Source Blow Dry Shaping Lotion and it came out so bouncy, shiny and clean. My hair can get weighed down easily but I did not have this issue. Again, there are not many anti-dandruff shampoos on the market that check off all the boxes in perfection so this product is definitely unique. After the anti-dandruff shampoo my scalp was not itchy for days. I highly recommend this shampoo for itchy, sensitive scalps. This shampoo does not strip my color, I use it as often as needed. If you have tried other anti-dandruff shampoos without success please give the Biolage one a try, it absolutely works! Biolage kindly gave me this product for free so that I could review it, thank you!

This line does feel a little heavy on the hair, so not recommended for fine or thin hair. Have not seen a big difference when using on clients that have significant dandruff. Does seem to moisturize the scalp but most clients are saying they feel like they need to wash sooner than with other shampoos

He constantly has flakes on his clothes. I have made him use this shampoo for the last 14 days, and his dandruff is basically all gone. He no longer itches, and I have seen little to no flakes on his clothes the last couple of days. This is now a staple for him, and I will be using it during my dandruff flare ups as well. The smell is also amazing just like all the other biolage products!

Making applicationon the scalp harder to control . It makes the scalp tingle a bit . The 2nd step ( cleanse ). Is a thicker shampoo that foams up a bit . If you have used tea tree ( Paul Mitchell) it feels like that on the scalp . The 3rd Step ( calming ) this shampoo is a gel like consistency and smells fabulous. The final step ( conditioner) is thick in consistency. Smells great and made my clients hair soft and shiny . This particular client had been using Malibu scalp wellness ( which she liked). Overall she said she preferred the biolage scalp sync to Malibu . Her hair was soft shiny and flake free after all 4 steps !The only downfall ( my clients perspective)was that it is many steps .
