Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, not incredible. I think this is a decent product overall, but it kind of just depends on what you're looking for. In the times I've used this on its own, its added time to the blowdry and hasn't done much to help with frizz nor flyaways. However, once the hair is actually fully dry it feels really satiny and soft. It also held the shape put in with a round brush well. It does however work well when you add something else to it. Maybe if someone's hair were severely porous it would give better results. Does smell like classic Biolage though too which is nice.

The Biolage Hydra Source Blow Dry Shaping Lotion claims to give 48 hours of weightless hydration, 72 hours of shape memory and up to 450° heat protection. Unfortunately all I found was a basic cream that added a little protection during the blow dry process. It does have the amazing Biolage scent and feel nice in the hair when wet. For me it just didn't produce the way I had hoped on straight or curly hair. Loved the idea of this product, but wasn't a winner for my station.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Product! I recently tried Biolage's Hydra Source Blow Dry Shaping Lotion. I have thin, fine hair so it's hard to find products that don't weigh my hair down. I used about a dime size for short/medium hair, started at my ends and worked my way up, distributing evenly throughout my hair. Also added in my other usual products. It has a nice, light fragrance that smells really good. I do feel that after round brushing my hair, it made it more "fluffy", bouncy, and softer. I would definitely recommend using this product especially if you have fine hair and a hard time having a blowout last!

If you have frizzy hair like me, however, it doesn't do much "smoothing" After a blow out style, my hair was still as frizzy and poofy as it is without this product, but my hair does feel soft after straightening afterwards.

She has natural wave and it tends to get frizzy with blow drying and this has been really helpful in cutting the frizz but also helping maintain her style when she blow drys and styles. It has the signature biolage scent and seams to be the perfect weight without seeming too heavy or too lightweight where you feel like you need a ton of product.

I have coarse curly hair and it made my hair soft and silky. And the style stayed the next day which is rare for me because I'm curly. I used it on a few clients with curls and it worked beautifully for them too.

I used the Biolage Hydrasource Blow Dry Shaping Lotion on my fine, thick hair and it felt heavy. I think this would be a great product for someone who is used to using over the counter hair products and wants to transition into using salon quality products without the high end price.

I've been using this on myself along with a low hold cream on damp hair and it lets my hair air dry perfectly and not frizzy looking, I'm really impressed.

I have 2A type hair slightly wavy and this product gave huge volume and shape without a blow dryer. Compared to other products I find this one superior because it can also be used to smooth the hair during a blow out. It's perfect! Highly recommend and wouldn't be without!
