The self-cleaning feature is a huge plus since I don’t have to constantly remove lint. I’ve had it for a year, and it still performs like it’s brand new. Definitely a great investment.

As soon as I hit complete, I realized I had my old address for shipping. I let them know immediately, but apparently there was nothing they could do about it and now I have no product and out $200.

The pro outweighs the cons so much with my other dryer. I had to purchase another one for my salon. It’s light weight, hot, max force with speed. You’re still able to carry on a conversation as well with your client while using the dryer too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Britt from heating has gone out twice I love it until I don’t. The heating mechanism has gone out in it twice in one year. Bio Ionic stands by their warranty however it’s very frustrating when it goes out in the middle of your client and then you have Tonya to send it back and wait two to three weeks for a replacement all for it to go out again! It’s stated making the same noice today and I am afraid it will be going out again… Bio Ionic knows there is a problem but has not fixed the issue.

I cant get through to a real person to talk about the fact that this dryer sucks. I just got it back from the second warranty and it lasted two weeks. it also shuts off mid blowdry to never work again. Dont buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Katie from replaced 2x in 9 months I’m not one to write reviews, but I wish I would have read reviews on this. First one I had stopped working in the first 2 weeks. Salon centric replaced it, and the second one worked fine for 8 months and then stopped blowing hot air. Its never been dropped, I clean the filter and take good care of it…It’s not covered under warranty because I didn’t register it after I purchased it… however, after how terrible it’s been, I don’t even want another one… switching brands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Wicked from Doesn’t Last + Poor Warranty I have gone through 3 in the past 1 1/2 years. each time i submit it in for my warranty claim and they tell me whatever is wrong isn’t covered. I take care of my tools… always cleaning, I don’t drop them, I unplug when they arent in use. I have had one stop blowing hot air, one stop working all together, and one take over 2 minutes to turn on after i press the on button.

But then the filter started falling out and it takes 5 whole seconds to start up. It didn't do that when I first got it. It works for now. But this blow-dryer is not worth its price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Serena from Breaks Every 5 Months. I have had this blow dryer for not even 2 years and I have had to ship it back the manufacturer 4 times. It gives out what seems to be every 5-6 months, always in the middle of a client. I loved this dryer and tried to make it work. I cleaned it consistently too. There is a 10 year warranty, but it costs $50 to ship the product back to New York… So in the end this blow dryer really cost me $500+.

It stalls when I turn it on, and the three lights blink. It takes about 15 seconds before it starts to blow air. Sad, because it was probably my favorite blow dryer thus far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by happihippihair from worth it if on sale The technology is definitely worth it if found on sale. We had 10 at our last salon. The girls that regularly cleaned the filter had significantly less issues. I will say sometimes it will overheat/ glitch even if you do maintain it perfectly. Any major issues we ran into bio ionic/ salon centric was great at helping troubleshoot/ replace when needed. Their warranty covers a decent amount and for lightweight dryers/ ionic technology this is a pretty solid choice.

There should be a consumer recall on these because none of them work and all short out, make weird noises or do not push air. I love bioionic curling irons, but their hair dryers are crap.

I liked it because it was so lightweight, however it comes with plenty of issues. I had to replace this blow dryer annually and sometimes it would only last 10 months rather than a full twelve. You have to continually clean the filter and as much as you clean it the motor will not keep up, i bought this for personal use it should have lasted longer, the final straw for me after the third one was when it blew various hot and cold settings and no matter what i did it got stuck on the self cleaning mode. you are better off buying the CHI Lava pro with two nozzle sizes and a diffuser.
