Just purchased this new version and it does not flow smoothly through the hair and pulls the hair about 3inches from the ends. I actually had little piece of broken hair sticking to the edges. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Katie from dangerous Loved this iron until it internally caught fire after 5 months! Melted the protection around the plates and started smoking. Who knows if it would have actually been a big electric fire. Thankfully I was there to unplug!
