I do weddings for a living, and I've bought mine in 2024. So almost 2 years later- it works great. Quality is great. It feels sturdy.

annoying functions
The curling iron itself works great, I feel like I get a great curl. But I am constantly turning the curling iron off when I pick it up to put it in my hair. My hand is always bumping the off button and usually I don’t realize it until it has cooled down a little and the curl stops holding.

Don’t waste your money
I bought this curling iron because i needed a new one and had heard great things about the Bio Ionic brand. I was SOOO disappointed with this curling iron. It was so hard to use to curl my hair, the clamp was loose and wouldn’t hold the hair. It also would heat up and then cut itself off after a minute everytime I would cut it on. I had struggled with it for over an hour trying to curl my hair before my anniversary dinner and just gave up and straightened it after it just continuously cut off everytime it would heat up. It isn’t an outlet problem all my other tools work perfectly fine in the same outlet. Super disappointed in this product.

Lacks the quality of their previous gold pro iron
I had the older version of this iron for around 7+ years. I loved it so much that my plan was to just replace it with the same exact iron. When I went to do that, I noticed that they had come out with a new version of the iron. I bought it, hoping it would style similar to my old one.
Right off the bat, I wasn't super impressed by this current version. When I would create my beach waves, the built in stand would get tangled up in my hair. My curls would never hold. I have been using the iron for the past 2 months, and was trying to give it a fair shot. Today I was curling my hair and the iron kept shutting off. I would turn it back on, just for it to start losing heat after 30 seconds. I tested the outlet I was using, so I am sure that wasn't the issue. Now the iron won't turn on at all for me. I have all bioionic tools right now, and have never had any issues. It's disappointing.
