The 10X Comb attachment smoothly glides through curls, to help dry hair quickly while stretching and detangling. Simply attach it to the dryer and blow style to help lengthen and smooth more textured hair types.
1. After washing your hair, towel dry—gently squeezing excess water from the hair and blotting or squeezing to absorb moisture.
2. Make sure your hands are completely dry before connecting the appliance to the electrical power outlet.
3. Hold your 10X Dryer by the handle; do not hold it by casing or barrel as those can be hot. Never block the inlet vents.
4. Use appropriate accessories for fast and better results: Concentrator Nozzle or Comb Attachment, pending desired hairstyle.
5. Connect to the electrical outlet and switch the Dryer ON by sliding the power switch to the ON position.
SPEED SETTING – The hair dryer is equipped with 3 air settings. Press the speed button to increase or decrease the fan speed on the hair dryer. The speed setting is indicated by a light indicator.
TEMPERATURE SETTING - The hair dryer is equipped with 3 heat settings. Press the heat button to increase or decrease the temperature setting on the hair dryer. The heat setting is indicated by a red indicator light.
COOL AIR/ COOL SHOT BUTTON – The cool shot button may be used while drying to lock in the desired style. To activate this function, press the cool shot button once. The blue indicator light will indicate the cool mode is activated and locked. To stop cool mode, press the cool shot button again. The blue indicator light will then deactivate.
POWER LOCK – After setting the desired airflow speed and temperature, use the LOCK feature to prevent accidental change of setting during use. To lock the setting, slide the Power On/Lock switch to the LOCK position. While the Speed and Heat Settings are locked, the cool shot button/ function can still be used. To unlock the setting, slide the power switch to the ON position and adjust speed and heat to the new desired setting.
MEMORY FUNCTION – Your 10X Dryer comes with a memory function for your ease of use. Even after the dryer is turned off, the dryer remembers the last speed and heat setting. So, the next time you start the dryer, it will automatically go to your last saved setting. Slide the Power switch to the OFF position to power down your dryer. Unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool down before storing it away. Do not wrap the power cord around the 10X Dryer as this can strain the cord and cause power cord failure.

light weight a plus. there are days that it dries really good and other days I feel it is not doing it’s best. this is my second one. my first one smelled like plastic was burning. and the cord was loose from the bottom of the handle. I clean the vents constantly and always keep it clean .

The redesign is no good. I loved my first one. But it lit on fire from a shirt in the cord. The concentrator continues to fall off. And it’s definitely a higher pitch sound. 😒

I didn’t realized they had changed the design
I have loved the Bio Ionic 10X until the redesign so much. In fact, fact I have gone through about 4. I am very hard on my blow dryers and run them on high heat all day long. So when these have lasted a couple years, that was very satisfactory to me. The only thing good about this new design is the filter cover is stronger. The plastic on the other model broke easily. The new one’s touch buttons are complete nonsense. They are just a bunch of smoke and mirrors to seem more modern. The on and off button is hard on my thumb. It doesn’t get as hot as the previous, and the sound is shriller. I always like the saying “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it”.

my favorite lightweight dryer
My favorite lightweight hair dryer. I bought the first dyson to try, but I don’t enjoy it for salon use. So this dryer has been my ult over & over again. It’s strong, lightweight, gives me the best blowouts & diffuses curly hair well (you have to buy the attachment) I’ve bought it 4 times over the last 10 years. If I would stop dropping it (i’m so clumsy) or forgetting to clean out the vents, it would have lasted longer lol. And it only happens right when the warrantee ends lol.
