It took me forever to get through my super dense haired client who eventually told me to not even bother finishing because she was getting irritated lol. Don’t waste your money. Returning mine today.

However, it dried out my hair and made my ends tangly, which is unusual for me. The minute I switched back to my everyday dryer, it went away. I gave it two stars because it is lightweight, but ultimately, I ended up returning it.

It could be better, I'm returning it and maybe I'll try the newer one. It did dry pretty fast but I did not notice any difference with ion or with out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 have broken If I could give this blow dryer zero stars I would. Within a year 2 blow dryers have stopped getting warm. Randomly while blowing out a client this blow dryer has stopped blowing hot air on 2 separate occasions. I checked all of the settings and made sure no buttons were stuck made sure the back of my blow dryer was clean and free of dust. Just no explanation at all it stops blowing hot air. I love this brand overall for tools. But this blow dryer is the worst blow dryer ever. The only thing I love about it is how lightweight it is. I definitely will not be buying a third.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don’t regret it! I was hesitant when I first used it. It didn’t fit my hand the same way my old one did. Fast forward two weeks, I love it! My clients love it. My guys ask what is that? It has so much power and is so light and get the hair dry in half the time. Actually, more like a quarter of the time it took before. Great purchase!

Cons, It does have a delay when you switch it on but that doesn’t bother me too much. The highest temp get hot but one notch down and it’s not really warm. My other complaint is the price, why is it cheaper at ulta and the Babyliss site than Salon Centrics? I wish I would have double checked.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from First time I've been disappointed with Babyliss I have been a devout Babyliss brand user for 20 years and I had high hopes for this dryer but I don't love it as much as I hoped I would. I've been using it for 4 months now. Pro's: It's lightweight, powerful, and I really like the diffuser. Cons: The normal attachment has these silly added plastic bits on the side of it that don't do anything to enhance its performance. Instead, it makes it too big to fit inside my dryer holder at my station. I don't know why they chose to add those bits on the side of a professional dryer, causing it not to fit inside a standard dryer holder. I have to take it off every time I put my dryer away, which has caused the attachments to get loose and they go flying off in the middle of drying someone's hair. It's also very loud, like a high pitched dentist drill. I was hoping for something quieter to help prevent hearing loss from decades of doing hair with loud dryers and this doesn't help at all. I also feel like it takes forever for it to get really warm, and it just doesn't get hot enough to give the curl and volume I need with many clients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best blowdryer I’ve ever had!! So glad I gave it a chance! Quiet, light, powerful, & comfortable. ONLY thing I dislike is that it’s slightly tricky cleaning the filter. There’s a removable outside piece but the inside after removing is a hassle to clean. But still well worth it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best blow dryer! I’ve always liked the blue babyliss dryers and was needing to upgrade. This little sucker is small and powerful. It is like a little jet. Yes there is a slight delay start but I’ve had other dryers do the same. There’s nothing wrong with it. It is on the loud side but that’s ok, sometimes I need a little break from talking or listening. I have tiny hands and it fits nicely and is so light. So happy with my purchase.

When fan is running but absolutely positively would buy again hair dries so much faster than my old blow dryer. leaves hair, so soft and smooth. If you are doing a blowout almost looks like you took a straightener to it when it comes to curls it gives them a perm look. All the girls at my salon want one now.
