Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect base I absolutely LOVE this as a dip base. Yes, it does gum up at the lid so just keep it clean. Dries in just the right amount of time to press dips and isn't tacky. I have only had to file due to my own nail issues. Otherwise a light buff to smooth is all I've needed. REMEMBER, people mostly review to complain. This is my favorite base by far!! That being said, I don't use it as my top coat. Not as shiny as I prefer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good as a top coat! This works great as a base coat but I don't recommend as a top coat. I prefer the artistic perfect dip top coat as it leaves a glossy finish.
