What It Is

This moisturizing and toning treatment is clinically proven to strengthen damaged hair and bring out the brightest in blonde, silver and gray strands.

After washing, massage through damp hair. Let penetrate 3–5 minutes. Rinse well. Use as a weekly treatment in place of conditioner, or as needed. Toning results will vary based on porosity and length of time left in hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Controls brass, but too heavy for my hair It’s meh. It does tone down yellow a bit. It adds a lot of shine, which I like, however, it’s very heavy (even for a hair mask). It left my hair feeling a bit coated and weighed down. However, I have fine hair so I think it would work well for someone with thick hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING PURPLE MASK This toning mask left my hair feeling nourished and soft, and also brought my brassy blonde up to a brighter, fresher looking blonde! Not only does it smell amazing, but it gives you that fresh blonde look without actually adding any bleach, and left my hair feeling super healthy and silky. 100% recommend this product! It doesn’t leave any purple staining or grey/silver looking spots in the hair either, unlike some other ones I have tried.

I tried the Bust Your Brass Toning + Strength Repair Mask to help keep my blonde looking bright between salon visits, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite masks. The texture is rich and creamy, so it coats the hair evenly without feeling too heavy. After rinsing, my hair feels soft and smooth, and the color looks noticeably cooler and less brassy. I especially like that it tones without leaving any dull or overly ashy finish. The only thing to be aware of is that it’s pretty pigmented, so I make sure to rinse my hands well after applying. Overall, it gives me great toning results and leaves my hair feeling healthy and refreshed.
