What It Is

Express blonde toners that provide rich, beautiful tones on pre-lightened hair, levels 8-10.

What It Does

• Extreme toning for bold color results in as little as 5 minutes

• Maximum versatility: neutralize unwanted tones, lighten & brighten, deposit

• 11 intermixable toners for detailed shade customization

• Tones deepen the longer you leave them on, giving the artist complete control over the end color results

What Else You Need to Know

• Lasts 6-8 weeks 

• Powered by quinoa oil, plant butter, coconut & linseed oil 

• Vegan formula* 

(*no animal derived ingredients) and not tested on animals

• In a non-metallic bowl, mix toner to developer in 1:2 ratio using 6 or 10 volume
• Apply to damp or dry hair (recommended)
• Process from 5-20 minutes. Checking regularly.  The longer your process the more deposit you will get
• To minimize the color deposit, change ratio to 1:3 or 1:4. To maximize the color deposit change ratio to 1:1
• Rinse thoroughly, shampoo and condition

 

You control the speed. Get the same results at 5, 10, and 15 min. Just change the mixing ratio.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be careful I love Pulp Riot vivids, so I decided to try their High Speed Toner in the shade Platinum Pearl on one of my clients. I did love the end result as far as the tone of her highlights, however this toner shifted her base from an ashy level 6 to an orange level 7. After doing further research, I found out these toners contain a lot of ammonia. I'm not sure why Pulp Riot markets these as toners when they are more like a permanent color. Nowhere on the box does it specify that it is a demi. I feel it's a bit misleading to call them toners. If you aren't familiar with Pulp Riot and all of their different lines, please be careful with these so-called toners. Make sure to use their 6-volume developer and even though the instructions say they can be left to process for up to 15 minutes, understand that leaving them on that long will probably shift your client's base. I found that out the hard way :(
