How To

ChromaSilk Express Tones are oxidative hair colors that are formulated to be mixed with ChromaSilk Zero Lift Developer and applied to damp hair. Express Tones Clear can be added to any shade for lighter deposit of tone or used alone to seal in incredible shine.

Her hair when platinum is notorious for grabbing the toner unevenly. Either the roots will grab it and it will be splotchy on the mid section, or only the mid and ends will grab the color. I decided to try out the ChromaSilk Express Tones in Smoke and Violet this last time. I used 50g of Smoke and 25g of Violet. I was worried it was going to be too violet at the roots, and too blue on her already toned mid and ends, as I was shampooing it out, but I noticed her hair grabbed the color consistently throughout. After it was dried, it was literally PERFECT! Applying it was nice and easy. It processed quickly, but not too quickly. I’m a fan and totally obsessed!

They work quickly and efficiently- clients love watching the shift in their tone in the mirror while this product processes! A truly beautiful finish for any lightening service! Try mixing beige, with a hint of violet, and ash for the PERFECT natural shadow root! Happy painting!
