Rated 5 out of 5 by from This iron can do everything! This is the best flat iron I've ever used. It straightens coarse wire-y hair in no time flat so use with caution on the temperature. My favorite new way to use this is to make angled C pattern indentions around the middle of the strands simply to add bend or movement while leaving the ends mostly straight. This iron can literally do any look you need including skinny curls with drug out ends. I prefer the 3000 over the 3100 model as I feel the 3100 is a little too small for any look I'm usually looking for. Almost all of the stylists I work with own this iron plus have them at home. The only negatives I have is when my sis first got hers the tip of the iron kept catching hair as the glue wasn't put all the way to the tip allowing the front and back pieces to separate. But we've had several and it's never happened on any others. Also, after 2 or 3 years of pretty heavy use the latch that locks the panels together for the wand technique is starting to not stay locked if bumped the tiniest little bit. I don't ever use it as a wand but I like to clamp it while in my station holder so it won't slip down in between the metal basket wires and burn it's own cord. I would definitely recommend over Chi, GHD, Paul Mitchell, TiGi, Cricket, T3, Hot Tools, and Rusk.

Once you get used to the length it leaves the hair incredibly soft smooth or for waves! The mini is super cute and useful for short hair. It’s a beautiful piece of equipment and clients love it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I thought I was going to be head over heels in love with this iron; Unfortunately, it did not impress. Two things: The controls were constantly in the way of handling the iron. Several times, I cut the iron off without realizing. Second, I thought the barrel would be somewhat concave (similar to a discontinued Chi model for achieving more lift and curl at the root.) Overall, the heat distribution was excellent, however, the functionality did not meet my expectations. Also, benefits did not warrant the price.
