I also use it on my roots, mainly at the top for added volume. I have fine hair and if I do not use this my hair looks flat and thin. This is an everyday must for me.

Hold hair straight up and spray about 1 inch away from scalp, tease with your fingers or just spread that area around with your hands. It creates instant volume without leaving that stays put and you can create volume throughout the day by pushing that area back up with your fingers. It can make your scalp feel icky if you spray it too close to your scalp.
