It does help reduce frizz and make the hair more manageable. The only thing I would change is to have a pump so I could pump it in my hand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Acceptable for straight hair Matrix allowed me to sample this line in exchange for my honest review, my review is as follows; If the individual the product was utilized on has straight hair the Smoothing line from Matrix is GREAT, however if hair has texture of any kind (from waves to coils) the performance was not as expected from Matrix. The product smells great and emulsifies well as expected of a product from Matrix.

This color safe, vegan mask makes it the perfect hydration/smoothing system for any hair type. Mega Sleek isn't too heavy, and gives a great soft, touchable feeling to the hair along with an extended time for humidity resistance. Overall this entire system is an absolute winner!

Its such a generous size tub too. I also like the scooping method used for this; as a hairdresser, I like masks I can scoop product out of instead of squeezing to help reduce strain in these aged hands :) I like to let it sit for a few short mins and rinse with warm water.

I’ve used it on a couple clients and my daughter and I really felt that it did what it said it would to their hair. Would definitely recommend to clients with thicker hair over finer hair as it can be a bit heavy on the hair.

She has thick, wavy hair and this tames it so well. I only use it about once a week on her, and maintain with this product lines regular conditioner. The mask drastically cuts down frizz and also makes detangling her hair a breeze. And just like the shampoo/ conditioner, the smell of the mask is good too.
