What Else You Need to Know

Powered by a 14% Hydro-Magnetic Complex, the formula leaves hair intensely nourished and moisturized, with up to 2.3x more glossy shine. The formula contains 46% less ingredients, with no ammonia, no fragrance, no silicones, no mineral oil, no parabens, and no drying alcohols.

1. Wear suitable, disposable gloves, and avoid metal tools. For one application, mix 1 oz of Shades ALK Haircolor with 1.5 oz of Redken Pro-Oxide Cream Developer 10V (3%).

2. Use exclusively with recommended Redken Pro-Oxide Cream Developer, 10 volume (3% maximum). Use only the proportions indicated.

3. Standard processing time is 20 minutes at room temperature. Rinse hair well after the processing time.

I don’t find they come out as dark, but I do like that they need more developer so they go farther. But I’ve very skeptical.

I just wanted to color over her grays and this did the job. It also toned out her hair that was lighter at the bottom from Heat damaged. The color was very even and I definitely would recommend this product. She would like to grow out because it will not shift the root.

It’s very similar to the discontinued shades eq cover plus, however this line is 1 to 1.5 ratio so you get more use per tube of color! I really enjoy the shine that it leaves in the hair. I would say to level up one shade when trying first as I found it ran on level darker. I can see this line becoming one of my favorite demi permanents.

Until I Tried This I’ll be honest—I haven’t traditionally been a huge Redken fan, but using this color on a client with coarse, curly, 80% grey hair made me question everything. The formula initially mixed up a little runnier than I'm used to, but as it sets, it transforms into a smooth, gel-like consistency that makes application an absolute breeze. The real standout was the final result; after processing and during the blowout, her hair had drastically more shine and noticeably less frizz than when she first sat in my chair. It’s safe to say I'm a convert, and I would definitely recommend this color line to other stylists.

Loooove the creamy smooth application of the product and talk about the shineeee!!!! My hair felt Amazing and I even got better grey coverage than I originally expected! 10/10 recommend
