Majirel Permanent Color (Original Shades) - Standard 1:1.5 Mixing Ratio
• The Mix: 2 oz. of Majirel color + 3 oz. of Majicrème Developer.
• Developer Choice: Use 12.5-vol., 20-vol., or 30-vol. Majicrème Developer depending on your desired lift and intensity.
• Development Time: 35 minutes.

Majirel Booster - Customizable 1:1.5 Mixing Ratio
• The Mix: 0.75 tube (1.5 oz) of Majirel color + 0.25 tube (0.5 oz) of Booster + 3 oz. of Majicrème Developer.
• Pro Tip: For level 8 and above, use Violet Booster sparingly. Adjust the amount of Booster based on your desired tonal intensity.
• Development Time: 35 minutes. 

Majirel High Lift - High-Lift 1:2 Mixing Ratio
• The Mix: 2 oz. of High Lift color + 6 oz. of Majicrème or Nutri-developer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love I received the Majirel Shades 6 and 7 Permanent Hair Color for free in exchange for an honest review, and after using both shades, I am genuinely impressed with the performance and reliability. Both shades delivered consistent, even coverage with excellent gray blending. The pigment saturation was strong without feeling heavy or overly opaque, which allowed for a very natural-looking result. Shade 6 provided a rich, balanced depth that worked beautifully for clients wanting a classic brunette without pulling flat or muddy. Shade 7 offered a softer, dimensional finish that reflected light well and avoided unwanted warmth or brassiness. The formula applied smoothly and processed evenly from roots through ends. Hair felt conditioned after rinsing, not stripped or dry, which speaks to the quality of the cream base and conditioning agents. Shine was noticeable immediately after blow-drying, and hair maintained softness and manageability. Results held up well over time with minimal fading, especially when paired with a color-safe maintenance routine. Majirel continues to be a dependable option for permanent color when consistency, coverage, and tone accuracy matter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bring back the Original New formula is garbage compare to what it was. L’Oréal has been my go to for years with amazing and predictable results. Sadly not anymore. I feel like I’m whisking milk, so consistency is awful and application sloppy. Gray coverage just isn’t there anymore. I always measure with a digital scale so my formulation is not off. I’m actually very surprised there is only one other reviewer so far that feels the same way I do about these changes. On to look for another permanent color line. Bummer.

Change in the consistency of the product, change in the way we now have to measure out the product, change in the box size. Most importantly is the lack of education with all these changes and the lack of product availability due to the switch of mostly everything.

What I love: the consistency of the color is amazing for covering gray, I love the shine that I get after washing clients hair and I love the shade range this line offers. I just wish it was a 10 mins color! It’s literally the reason I use my current line. Please make a 10 mins color!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Review Shades 6 & 6.3 I mixed both shades with a majority of 6N and a small amount of the 6.3 to warm things up. I was surprised it was a 1:1.5 mix ratio. I think this is great if your clients tend to have a lot of hair, but it makes the texture when applying very liquid. I found myself getting it in places I didn’t mean to when applying. It also dripped off the brush more than usual. The smell was a little strong, but not overpowering. The coverage was good, but I would say about 80% opaque. The condition of the hair was less dry than directly after some other color lines, which is nice. Overall I don’t think it will replace my current product. I was sent this product for my honest review.
