Majirel Permanent Color (Original Shades) - Standard 1:1.5 Mixing Ratio
• The Mix: 2 oz. of Majirel color + 3 oz. of Majicrème Developer.
• Developer Choice: Use 12.5-vol., 20-vol., or 30-vol. Majicrème Developer depending on your desired lift and intensity.
• Development Time: 35 minutes.

Majirel Booster - Customizable 1:1.5 Mixing Ratio
• The Mix: 0.75 tube (1.5 oz) of Majirel color + 0.25 tube (0.5 oz) of Booster + 3 oz. of Majicrème Developer.
• Pro Tip: For level 8 and above, use Violet Booster sparingly. Adjust the amount of Booster based on your desired tonal intensity.
• Development Time: 35 minutes. 

Majirel High Lift - High-Lift 1:2 Mixing Ratio
• The Mix: 2 oz. of High Lift color + 6 oz. of Majicrème or Nutri-developer.

I love the 1:1.5 mixing ratio - feels like I'm cheating and saving money on expensive color coming from 1:1 ratio! Color mixed easily and had a good consistency and did cover nicely - but I'm a gels kinda gal. It did impress me with it's coverage in a 35 minute time!

The color payoff was rich and even, and both shades blended beautifully on my hair. They gave me the depth and tone I was aiming for, with great gray coverage too. The formula was easy to mix and apply, and my hair felt surprisingly soft afterward—not dry or damaged like some permanent colors can be. The finished result lasted well and stayed vibrant through several washes. If you’re looking for dependable, salon-quality permanent color with consistent results, Majirel is definitely a solid choice!

I have been using these two colors on a client for many years and now all of sudden she got really bright, copper results with the new ones. I have to do a color correction after doing her roots with it. What happened? Don't ever change the level.

L'Oreal is a go to for me and the Majirel has always been a favorite of mine so I was happy to try out the new formula. It doesn't have a strong scent and hair feels conditioned and has a nice shine. I don't find the gray coverage long lasting but when people get above 10-15% they probably need to be more frequent. I will continue using this product, it is also easier to mix which I like.

Both was a great neutral tone, perfect for overall depth too. The 1:1.5 ratio made for a great, easy to work with consistency. Gray covered well. I was turned off by the price point until I seen the mixing ration. Overall, would totally use it again, and considering ordering some red tones to try out.

I like that it comes in a 2oz tube and the mixing ratio is 1:1.5 for a nice creamy consistency that goes a little farther. This is my first time using Majirel permanent color. The color came out vibrant and shiny. I didn’t need much gray coverage so I can’t tell you how well it works on hair that’s coarser or a higher percentage of gray.
