Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a noticeable difference I was excited about the new Redken Acidic Color Gloss Conditioner. Unfortunately it just doesn't give what it claims. With advanced pH technology the claim is shine and color protection. While it has a pleasant scent and and feels ok, it leaves me wanting more. I didn't feel that my hair was restored or see any additional shine. Not a product I would push in the salon.

I waited a few weeks before I posted to get feedback from clients and they said this is the longest their color has ever looked so shiny!

I used multiple times on myself, as well as a handful of my clients, each with different types of hair. It is short, sweet & works like a dream! Not only was it a noticeably almost instantly for color treated hair! But also the SHINE SAYS IT ALL! Pair with the same shampoo in this line of products!

It's very thick which concerned me when I first put it in my hand but I am happy to report that it didn't feel heavy or greasy. I usually have to use a leave-in but was none was needed. I was able to brush out my hair easily. When drying, my hair glided through the brush without tangling ( I have long fine hair). Once dry my hair felt fuller, softer and shinier. Will definitely recommend

However, after using it a second time, I left it on my hair a little longer and was very pleased. My hair was very shiny and manageable and I didn't need to use my usual leave-in conditioner after.

I personally love that it's not heavy on any hair type, and usually when the word gloss is in the title I end up feeling some weight on the hair. These products are light, the shampoo lathers beautifully, the conditioner detangles without being heavy. A little goes a long way with both products. My clients have all loved the smell, it's clean, refreshing, with a little citrus, and as someone who is sensitive to scents, I found this one to be so good. As I blow dry someone's hair everyone is asking what I used that gave it that smell. While drying and styling the hair doesn't tangle, and it has a beautiful shine and softness while still being able to achieve volume. This line has been a big hit. It has a luxury feel when you use them.

I've tried a lot of shampoo and conditioner combinations due to my dry, wavy hair. Following the shampoo, I used the conditioner and noticed a difference the first day. My hair felt revitalized, making it shiny and smooth. I color my hair with salon grade products and my hair color seemed a more vibrant shade of black. The scent is light and lasts throughout the day. The difference is even more noticable when using the two color gloss products together. There are no animal derived ingredients which is a plus to me. I would recommend Redken Color Gloss conditioner to anyone looking for beautiful shine at home.
