Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can be used as a working (non- thermal ) spray I used this off label as a prep/ working spray, even though it's a finishing spray, for a messy bun for running errands. And I used it on wet hair. Works perfectly, not sticky, no strong smell and no stiffness.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its lightweight and smells good I would probably give it 3.5 stars. I wanted to make sure I had the chance to use it on myself and clients with different hair types. I liked the smell, and it did work for giving texture. But I felt like I had to use quite a bit since there really wasn't much hold to it. I also thought it was drying on my hair and I didn't like that. It's very average, but I'm not in love with it. I would recommend to someone with shorter hair who needs texture without hold.

It gives that textured look to curls or you can even use it on in layered hair to give it the texture choppy look. The smell is light. Make sure you shake it first and I would spray no closer then six inches away from the head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for any updo kit Used in the updo styling process. Helps tame the frizz and flyaways give a nice smooth finish. Also used in ponytails to help add texture. Only downside is to be careful with how much is used so has to not give the hair tacky feel when touching it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Hairspray 7/10 I think when I read the packaging I assumed I would be getting something that is a little different from the ordinary med/firm hold hairspray. The name referred to it as a "wax spray" and I was expecting more of that wax type of feel/texture when using it and right away it felt like a traditional/drying/aerosol firmer hairspray. I think it would be great in my kit for bridal/special occasions when a firmer spray is the norm to use but this isn't a spray I could see either myself or a typical day to day type of client enjoying. It has too much grip and tac to it to enjoy it on freshly blowdried hair (which is when I use a hairspray regularly) so it just isn't my style. If it had a waxier/slicker finish to it I could see enjoying it more but as is it just isn't for me. Would not purchase as I know a lot of hairsprays like this and I prefer those that are lighter in finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shiny and soft This product surprised me a bit! It has a lighter weight feel than big sexys play dirty spray wax. You can run your fingers through your hair with ease after applying. It is buildable without causing a sticky, tacky, or gummy feeling like some other wax sprays. It gives your ends enough texture but I can still finger though it even after day 3 hair. (I did refresh the wax spray each day) I have a bob and it's wonderful for me. I however didn't love it on fine, short hair because of the amount of sheen it gives. The smell is very neutral in terms of masculinity/femininity I'm not sure if I like the scent. Sometimes it smells clean and other times it kind of smells like a higher end public restroom kind of clean to me. Not terrible. But not my personal favorite scent. It is not too overwhelming and the smell dissipates after 10 minutes or so. Other than those 2 things I like this and would buy it again based on how fine of a spray it is and how lightweight, soft and buildable it is.

I would definitely buy it again.and I love how light weight it feels on most hair as well. It doesn't leave and icky gunky residue, and it brushes out well without tangles.

So far the product has not clogged, which tends to be an issue with wax aerosol products. My only complaint is that is smells very very strong. It lingers for a long time as well.

The hold number can be misleading because it's really not touchable and I feel like it's up there with a Control addict... but it's great to hold things in place and give a textured look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Definition, separation, bulk & shine...PERFECT spr I LOVE wax blast 10 for my messy buns!!! It's perfect for hair that needs some grip and separation to bulk it up before putting it into a bun or messy bun! Wax blast is my #1 go to before my hair goes up for anything even just to bulk up my pony tail for extra volume & a slight shine. I will also occasionally use it on my messy beach waves instead of a pomade when I need a little shine and separation. It's very much like a 'spray pomade' in many ways because it offers light shine and definition for a piecey look but it also adds bulk or volume and is much easier to apply than a pomade from a jar! Overall, wax blast has SOOO many uses in my daily hair routine but messy bun prep has to be my #1 favorite way to use it!! I definitely recommend it as a staple in your hair cabinet!

You can not over spray with this product, the more you spray the more texture you will get depending on hair type. If you end up spraying too much, no worries just simply soften it by using a blow dry. Love it!

I have used this spray wax on both short hair clients and long hair clients to give them that little extra texture that they needed! I felt like it was a little too heavy for the looks I was going for with my longer hair clients but definitely gave me the perfect texture for the short spunky hair that some of my clients love! The only thing I would love to have changed is the smell. It doesn't have the most appealing smell to it. Smell aside it's a good product!

First I apply a little gel, then I apply the wax blast finishing spray all over the hair especially on the edges because they tend to start curling up first! My style lasted all day with no flakes, no stickiness, no greasy feeling and no stiffness! I'm impressed being that I am kinky curly and I would definitely recommend anyone to try it out!

It gives my fine, limp hair just enough grit to accentuate my style. Not too heavy or sticky. I wish it lasted a little longer in the hair is my only complaint. I feel like I need to reapply mid day.
